What would the speed of the Olympic Class Liners if all 4 funnels were functional?
Before anyone comes for me, yes I know that the 4th funnel was functional but didn’t have any boiler room(s) connected to it and was mostly there for ventilation and served multiple other purposes as well. My question is how fast would these liners go across the Atlantic if the fourth funnel had boilers connected to it and was functional like the other 3?

2oz weed decarbed in Ardent Nova let soak four months ( shaken daily). Strain and squeeze with cheese cloth. Then I ran it through a coffee filter with a canning funnel. Twice. SS Ile de France and RMS Aquitania sail as troopships in 1943. The latter ship was originally ordered by Cunard to compete with White Star Line's Titanic and survived both world wars to become the last four funneled liner on the seas, retiring in 1950. [3822 x 2655]

Original Design of RMS Olympic. This is what the Olympic Class Ocean Liner would've looked like if this design was never changed. They changed this design and added the 4th Funnel as a response to Cunard Line's Lusitania wich had 4 Funnels. They also removed the 4 masts and only put 2.

Started watching the new series High Seas on Netflix, and couldn’t help but notice a familiar Liner in this photo. Note the enclosed Promenade and the absence of a 4th funnel. Also the series is filmed on the Queen Mary.

TIL On old luxury cruise liners, it wasn't uncommon for the fourth funnel (chimney) to be non-functional and used only for storage. Hi. Can anyone tell me what year this label is from? I found this Vintage jacket at a thrift store in Delaware 23 years ago. It’s got a zip out liner and a four button front. It’s needs repair because the seam along the left arm is ripped.
