A list of puns related to "Four Yorkshiremen sketch"
The Four Yorkshiremen Sketch is a classic pre-Monty Python sketch from the TV show "At Last The 1948 Show" starring Tim Brooke-Taylor, John Cleese, Graham Chapman and Marty Feldman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKHFZBUTA4k
I imagined re-writing the sketch to be about how older computer languages didn't provide memory management, a wide array of code libraries, modules, etc.
"Who'd of thought that someday we'd be coding in a language dedicated to simplicity and readability, where one could do so much in so few lines of code. At my last job, we had to code in C#, and let me tell you, that took hours to make programs of even moderate complexity !."
"C#?!? When I was in college we coded in C and had to allocate/deallocate our variables, and it was tedious, but we enjoyed it!"
"C? You lucky bastard. When I grew up, we wrote all our code in Assembly. No one could read it but us, and it took days to code a cursor moving across the screen!"
"Assembly!?? We used to dream of writing in Assembly! We had punch cards! And if we lost one, it was back to the punching machine for the next week!"
"Punch cards?? Luxury! On my first job, we designed and baked our own bread-boards. It took months to solder enough of them to create simple calculators."
"Yeah, but you try and tell that to the young people of today! Will they believe you? Noooo!"
I was bored, so I typed up the entire script of the Four Yorkshiremen ^((with small translations to more common English for people like me)), because it's one of my favorite skits. Note that I used a public script of the original, non-Monty Python, Four Yorkshiremen skit and just edited it into the Monty Python version.

If you find any problems, go ahead and tell me in the comments.
And by the way, if someone says something like "It's not a real Monty Python skit!" or "That's barely the funniest skit!" just know that I am most likely not as knowledgeable about Monty Python as many others on this subreddit, and of the few Monty Python skits I've seen and remembered, this is my personal favorite.
