A list of puns related to "Former Qin"
Were they executed, demoted to a lower noble title, or something else entirely?
I have heard that he was one of the best commander/warrior of his age,I couldn't remember that he lost even a single battle, his army survived Jin onslaught at Fei river which wipe off almost entire of Qin army.
What if he was commander in chief, could he defeat and conquer Jin? or at least stalemate.
The turmoil developing between his fellow Qin was enough to arouse apprehension in Khan Dorgon. The balance set by the Great Realignment weighed heavily on his mind. Truly, Wansui, spread wide across the south, was the least balanced of the Qin, but the matter needed to be monitored carefully. Indeed, the fact that his good friends in Kaishi would break the spirit set forth by the Peace of Kenyama was disturbing.
However, his apprehension turned into his worst fears. Terror filled him when he heard outsiders were using this inter-Qin despute as opportunity to invade, befoul, and bring death and disharmony to Qin. Hearing Wansuiβs citing of article 8 of that very same treaty, he had to act. The Khan called forth his brother in Harakaite and other allies in Lei and Kaishi to arms and treat on conditions of a coalition.
Despite the difference or whatever brought about this war, those in Kaishi were reasonable. They had to understand that they as Qin had an obligation, not only as Qin, but as honorable men to honor the treaty his father made. Without their fellow Qin, Wansui was risking a war on all sides. This could set precedent for future invaders from outside Qin. First Wansui, then who knows else? Outsiders needed to know Qin was for Qin alone, and that all Qin would defend that earth.
Even if he needed to force concessions from Wansui to Kaishi in order to cease this turmoil and unit all Qin to repel these invaders, they needed to see reason. The fate of all Qin was at risk.
[M] Assuming this is a war isolated in Wansui, and that Kampuchea, JV, and the Indians are attacking separate of Kaishi. [M]
Hi again. Three weeks ago I posted about a project I'm working on. For those who haven't seen it yet:
>So, I am embarking on an interesting project. I intend to experience the best art and media humanity has to offer before I die. Namely this is all the highly notable and interesting books, plays, art, music, films, TV shows, and video games. I guess you could call it a bucket list. I've been indexing it chronologically and downloading it to an external hard drive.
I then solicited suggestions for highly notable/significant ancient and medieval literature that I was missing from an early draft of what the list would cover. I got over 100 responses; it was clear I was missing a lot. So, I pretty much started from scratch, doing multiple sweeps of any pre-Renaissance literature, and incorporated many of the suggestions I received, ranging from missing individual works to missing authors and cultures.
I should also note that in order to prevent this list from becoming unwieldly, I am limiting myself to 10,000 entries total, forcing myself to take a more deliberate and top-down approach. So far, I have 261 entries for the time span 4000 BC to 1400 AD: 12 Ancient-era, 121 Classical-era, and 128 Medieval-era works. 251 are literature, 10 are music. In other words, 2.61% of the list is Medieval era works or earlier, which seems quite reasonable to me and leaves plenty of room for more modern works spanning across more mediums.
I thought I would share what I have so far before I begin work on more modern stuff. Note that bolded entries are in the top 1,000 works, the cream of the crop, the most notable of all. If you're following along with me and don't want it to take a decade or longer to get through the whole completed list, just sticking to the bolded entries will give you a good taste too.

wellβ¦ by my own words, heβs the βErwin Rommel of Three kingdomsβ, the legendary WW 2 generalβ¦. both were humble origin(Rommel hailed from middle-class southerners/Bavarians, in contrast with northern aristocratic prussian german generals) climbed rly hard from low ranks, possessing dynamic tactical mind, loved by lower rank soldiers, andβ¦ more importantlyβ¦ both met their tragic endings falsely accused of treason by their superiorsβ¦ ok sentimental aside, save such talks for other time

Now we assessing the military quality. Conquest of Yi province was underrecorded, but by reconstructing any accounts available to later historians its safe to say that Yi campaign are the most important military operation for Shu. it was even more important Red cliff battle β¦if Sun Quan lose in Red Cliff, Liu Bei & co just need to βabandon shipβ again, just like when he leave Tao Qian or Liu Biao regions. While campaign vs Liu Zhang is βdo or dieβ for Liu Bei. He gambled his credibility for this campaign as if he failed, no one in China wanna host Liu Bei & co again, since he betraying the trust of Liu Zhang.
Despite short description of the campaign record & popular belief that Liu Bei conquered Liu Zhang easily, the truth are far from easy. Liu Bei personally really fight with his life & pure bravery here, Sun Quan officer & observer of Bei campaign reported that they even suffered the loss half of his forces during the campaign & predicted Liu Bei will fail. Pang Tong fallen in battleβ¦ guess what? Years later Liu Bei overcame the difficulty & successful. History credited 3 figures carved their names here:Wei Yan, Huang Zhong, & Fa Zheng. Those thre rly worked their asses with Beiβs life & death in years of battles in Yi. They even captured several cities before the reinforcements from Jing arrived. Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, & Zhuge Liang only joined for the later phase of the battle as they brought fresh force from Jing province & giving final nails in the coffin.
Fa Zheng, & Huang Zhong served in command, as both has position & acknowledged even before serving Liu Bei. But Wei Yan??? This guy started under Liu Bei as foo

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Just some thinking, but the Lord of the Mysteries or The Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth is adored and revered in the Western Continent (formerly known as East on Earth) And the wiki says "He" likely was active at some time in ancient China;
"" It can be speculated that "It" was active on Earth as early as the Qin or Han Dynasty of the Pre-Epoch based on the fact that "Its" Honorific Name and a corresponding ritual to enter Sefirah Castle was recorded in a book named "Quintessential Divination and Arcane Arts of the Qin and Han Dynasty", which was eventually obtained by Klein in the Modern Era. ""
We don't know to much about God Almighty but what makes me think that "He" have something to do with the Abrahamic religions or especially Christianity is the Hanged Man pathway. Don't be offended but... think about it, the Hanged Man pathway represents sacrifice and responsabilty (As Amon said and in his words) and in the Christian religion "He" sacrifice himself to save humanity. And this pathway blood and flesh are main themes. As is ritual in Christianity, "eate the flesh and drink the blood of Christ"
Just some theories about it, what do you guys think?
The doctor says it terminal.
The nurse asked the rabbit, βwhat is your blood type?β

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB

What does China today think of its former kingdoms, dynasties and famous people. About the Three Kingdoms period, figures like Sun Tzu and Confucius, Dynasties like Qin and Han
Yeah, you guys know you love speculation.
So, to clarify the theory, we have to take into account three things that involve one character: Zeus. First, he's the "main villain" (if you want to look at it that way) of the story, or at least that's how he's been handled being the one who is the president of the gods and all. Second, prior to the Buddha fight, he claims that because of a loophole in the rules, someone who has competed before can compete again. And third, he is losing most of the gods of his (Greek) pantheon.
(I clarify that the fights I propose are not in order nor I explain the powers or valkyries).
So as Zeus is the "main villain" and he is the one who said about the void of rules, I think he will fight in the final round. But how will he fight again? For that to happen one of the fights must be cancelled and that's why I think the current Hades vs Qin fight will end in a draw.
So the next fights would be like this:
- Anubis vs Rasputin, Death vs Life, they can even throw in those philosophical havocs that Shuumatsu usually does. (I think Anubis will be the winner).
- Okita Souji vs Loki, the Need to fight, since they briefly faced each other backstage in fight 5 I'm sure these two will fight in the arena. (The bad thing is I think if Okita wins, Kintoki will lose and vice versa. Since if they both win it would be like having favoritism to Japanese characters, but if you asked me, I'd rather see Kintoki win).
- Kintoki vs Beelzebub, Hunter vs Prey, talking about Kintoki, I think this would be the best fight for him considering his past as a demon hunter. (Victory would be as I explained in the previous fight).
- Apollo vs SimΓΆ Hayha, Beauty and the Beast version snipers, yes, I know. This is the least original fight but at the same time the most expected one. Everyone already wants to see SimΓΆ fight from a distance (and yes, I think SimΓΆ would win).
- Leonidas vs Susanoo, the Pride of a nation. Of all my theories this is the one I like the least, but at least I also see sense in it. Zeus would be on the ropes and promise Susanoo his pride of a god back, after the fight with his sister. Leonidas is easily the pride of Greece (I think it would be an even fight where even Susanoo would hesitate if he really wants to win, but in the end he is able to beat the Spartan).
- Odin vs Nostradamus, What true power is. This fight would necessarily have to happen after Loki and Apollo fight, the former winning and the latter losing. Odin

The queen of the Celtic Iceni tribe. After her husband's death to the hand of the Roman Empire and her humiliation to the hand of Emperor Claudius, she raised an army of over 230.000 warriors with many other tribes and was responsible for the death of over 80,000 Romans.
>!She died, maybe of suicide, after the battle of Watling Street when her army was beaten by the Romans, while heavily outnumbered, they had discipline and whiped the celts.!<
She was decribed as "very tall, in appearance most terrifying, in the glance of her eye most fierce, and her voice was harsh; a great mass of the tawniest hair fell to her hips; around her neck was a large golden necklace"
I imagine some kind of feral warrior for her, kind of like Lu BΓΌ, especially when we take a look at her description by Dio Cassius, battling with a lance or a small sword and having an impressing aura.
Something interesting about her is the few number of sources about her : only two Roman historians : Dio Cassius and Tacitus, provide records of her. There is no grave, no monument, no representation, and some of their records are contradicting each other.
Her name also mean "Victory". There is also Boudicca from "The Victors Project", if you liked the Hunger Games books, you have to take a look at it.
As a child, the young prince of Wallachia (in Romania) was sent as an hostage to the Ottoman Empire. After the fall of the Constantinople in 1453 he went back to his birthplace and took the throne by force. He mostly fought the Ottomans around 1462, escpecially during the "Night Attack at TΓ’rgoviΘte" where between 10,000 and 23,000 Turks were killed and impaled during one night. The numbers are variying but hundred of thousand of people died during his wars.
>!He was murdered between december 1476 and January 1477 under mysterious cirumstances, his head being sent to the sultan Mehmed II who impaled it as proof of his death!<
For his fight, maybe I am influenced by the Alucard of Hellsing but I imagine him as his Dracula form at the end of the serie. Also, if you watc

But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
