A list of puns related to "Fender Nashville B Bender Telecaster"
I picked up this guitar last night. A buddy of mine plays in a country band with his army band unit. Their guitar player was selling this telecaster, so my friend asked if I would be interested in buying it for $500. I found out later that the asking price was $1200, my friend paid $1000, and then re-sold it to me for $500 as a gift. I definitely got one hell of a guitar for $500.
I've been wanting a tele for a long time. This guitar has been played hard, but it still feels and sounds great. I've never used a b-bender before, but it's a very interesting concept. I can't wait to start learning some licks and incorporating the bender into some of my playing.
My band has a show this week (opening for Steel Panther in Cincinnati), but I haven't decided yet if I'm gonna make this my main guitar for that show or not. It's at least going to replace my Epiphone les paul as my backup (even though this might actually be a bit heavier thanks to the bender mechanism).

Here is my new black paisley Tele with a B&G bender system from Bill Warford. The bender is loads of fun to play but somewhat hard to keep in tune. so far it just has stock MIM Tele pickups, am thinking about putting in the EMG-T set which I have on another Tele and absolutely love.
[edit] forgot the pic, sue me I'm on my phone.

Just recently got my first tele in Daphne Blue. I've always wanted a tele and I was looking for a Nashville one in this colour for quite a while..
Hey guys,
So, I think I committed a guitar-mod no-no; I changed out a pot without checking the original value. I loved the Nashville setup on my tele, but I wanted the bridge and neck together so I ordered a 250k push-pull pot. However, after I did all the soldering and was putting the extra parts away, I realized the original pot was 1meg!
After some research, it's because the pickups in this model are Fender's Vintage Noiseless pickups, which are technically stacked humbuckers, so I guess they put 1meg instead of 250k to brighten them up--I'd heard the Noiseless series sound less bright, in general, so this was probably to compensate? Still confused as to why they didn't just go with 500k...
Anyway, did I mess up here? To be honest, before the mod, I always thought the treble on the bridge was sort of take-your-head-off bright. Now, I think it sounds more balanced while still being bright. However, this is my first telecaster, so I'm not sure if that's how it is supposed to sound.
I know some will say, "If it sounds good to you, that's all that matters," but I would really like it to sound like a "regular" all-single-coil telecaster (just with more options as it has the strat pickup in the middle). I don't care if it sounds vintage accurate, just that it sounds all-single-coil telecaster accurate.
Thanks in advance! If this should go in guitarmods or elsewhere, someone let me know. Oh, and for reference I'm using a blues junior (I) on a milk crate with Bass at 7, Mids at 6, and Treble at 5. I have Master all the way up and Gain/Volume rolled almost all the way down, Fat switch to taste. I use the BJ as a pedal platform so I run it clean.

I was in the market for my first decent electric. I had a Mexi Strat a few years back and loved it. I was able to borrow my friends Tele a few times and loved it as well. I was torn. But then I read abut the Nashville Tele with the Strat pickup in the middle! I had to see it! I looked it up, saw the blue and loved it from the start. Insert Wayne's World reference here.
I went to my local guitar store and found one. I played it, and fell in love instantly. It felt so good in my hands, it was comfy, and it had the nice bite that a Tele is known for. Pair that with a clean Strat pickup to smooth it out just enough when you need it and its fantastic.
My only (small) complaint is that the middle pickup doesn't seem to have a very strong effect, I hear it and I like it, but I want more. But, that's how it goes. Chasing "your" tone forever.
Cheers!
Edit: Just occurred to me that I probably should have included some clean tones, and just the guitar itself. Oh well. If people want it, I can make it happen.
During my trip to summer NAMM in 2017, I picked up a Fender MIJ FotoFlame Nashville Telecaster from Gruhn's in Nashville. Great guitar off the shelf, but decided to mod it up a bit. Loaded it up with Fralin Blues Special pickups, Fender Deluxe locking tuners and a customized tortoise-shell pickguard. Excellent for getting a mix of Strat and Tele sounds, especially in positions 2 and 4. I wish the Fralin bridge pickup had a bit more bite, but it sounds nice either way.
A few months later, Iknew I had to get a matching Broadway preamp from my friends at Coppersound. It is hand painted by a local airbrush artist in MA. If you have a telecaster or strat youโd like to match, Coppersound does all kinds of combinations. As for the sounds, this pedal can go from crystal clean to mean with the turn of the volume knob. It is a classic example of germanium with touch sensitivity and a wide range of sounds. I use it in the front of my chain to avoid any issues with buffers etc. and often just use it alone straight into my Marshall Origin 50 to get some unadulterated rock sounds out of it. It has a three position foot switch and a volume knob that I typically keep cranked because...tone.

It's been years since I've owned a Telecaster. Went to the local shop for strings and one thing led to another...
Once it's been in the stable for a bit, I plan on adding an S-1 switch and wiring it up for bridge + neck in addition to the current combinations.
