A list of puns related to "Fairground Attraction"
Right, so I'm looking into victorian fairgrounds for a story I'm thinking about writing, but I can't really find a lot of information about what attractions there would have been.
In particular, I'm wondering what kind of setup one would find inside a haunted house attraction around that era, it'd be really nice if someone could enlighten me here.
I was able to find a fair bit about attractions on fairgrounds in the early 1900's but that isn't helping because for plot purposes (and because I'm a perfectionist and really care about getting my history facts right) I need attractions that would have existed and been in common use in 1895 or earlier.
So basically, acoustic poppy songs(preferably female vocal) with blues, jazzy, folk, roots rock/rocksteady oldie mixed into it. Can be artists or songs.
My cousin likes to sing, I play guitar, we both like this style and look for inspiration.
A lot of theme parks/seaside resorts etc. have it, it's like a board with a hole where you position your face and then someone takes a picture with your face and a cartoon body of a muscular guy, Disney character accompanying you etc. I'm sure you've seen it, but I have no clue what's the proper term for it. Tried looking for "photo booth" but it's obviously a different thing. Does anyone know? Thanks!
