A list of puns related to "Facial skeleton"
Everytime I try to do a facial rig in advanced skeleton I get the following error:
No object matches name: Head_M.lockInfluenceWeights
I've spent countless amount of hours trying to rig a face and so far it's been awfully frustrating, my respect to everyone who can do it succesfully.
If you could help me in any way I'd thank you inmensely.
I could provide you a link to the .mb right before the rig attempt if you'd like to take a closer look.
thank you for your time
Hi! Iβm having problems with facial rigging using Advanced Skeleton 5. When I hit build, it starts running but then I get an error saying that βThe skinCluster does not deform the selected component(s)β and it wonβt let me move forward with the rest of the facial build. I canβt figure out nor find a solution anywhere D: Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
In a hypothetical scenario where Orangutans went extinct before humans began recording information or studying the natural world. And assuming that they left a well detailed fossil record(which in and of itself would be highly unlikely). Would Paleontologist be able to infer the existence of large facial flanges in make specimens? Would their be skeletal evidence that the face supported large soft tissue structure? Or would this feature leave little trace?
I recognize that ape fossils are extremely rare and often fragmented. But I am working on a setting involving a hypothetical lineage of apes and knowing if these soft tissue structures would leave behind some sort of fossil evidence would be beneficial.
Is our appearance based on the fat and muscle around our faces or does the bone structure play a role? evidence?

Hey everyone,
So I'm using Advanced Skeleton to rig up a model that I made. The body is pretty much done - however, when I try to use the facial rigger, it completely destroys the weights on my model. What happens is that the "blink" function basically completely derails, and rather than influencing just the eyelid, it makes the entire right or left half of the body move.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, and is there any way to fix it without completely redoing the rig? Thanks in advance for any help!
Scholars,
So, I am fighting with my insurance company for facial feminization surgery (FFS). Officially the policy calls it cosmetic, but I'm still going to give it a good fight. In the primary document that covers transgender surgery, they have some stuff hidden at the end of the document that leaves it a bit more open.
I am looking to use that to open the door a bit. Crucially however, there are a number of peer reviewed papers that are cited by the document that address FFS. Sadly, the papers seem to be hidden behind paywalls etc. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advise for how to get the full texts of these documents? I would like to review them and see what the authors conclusions are. I have a sneaking suspicion that they will be more supportive of FFS than the official document. And if the sources cited by the policy disagree with the policy, I will have a much stronger hand.
I've already found a few of the documents they cite; I'm just trying to be complete. Pulling lines like "Facial feminization surgery must be considered part of the process of treating patients with gender dysphoria, because the modification and elimination of masculine facial features allows these patients to adapt more easily to the workplace and social and family environments" really strengthens my case.
I have followed a few different paths, and it all links to papers hidden behind a paywall. The first paper I am trying to find is below.
Thank you all!

As the title says I have a rigged character already in engine with a bunch of animations for the body. My question is if I'm going to have to redo all of the rigging and animations if I want to add animations for the face? Is this exactly what morph targets are for? If I added bones for the eyes in my rig will none of the existing animations work on that skeleton? Thanks for taking the time to read this and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello! I'm having a problem after the update. the simple face rig that should have jaw and eye controls is not working. Apparently those bones are not skinned, they have no influence in my mesh. Does anyone have the same problem??
Does anyone know if I can skin those bones separately? I just need the simple facial rig. Pleaseeeee.. anyone?
Thanks!
Hi,
I'm using Advance Skeleton, just began learning it last week. For the most part it seems like a really great tool with lots of potential. However in the last day i've been hit with a problem that I can't seem to resolve, curious if anyone can assist or provide suggestions!
Basically when i rig the body, everything looks nice. My skinning is Deform option 1 and DeltaMust afterwards .. it provides a nice base to paint weights over later. The next step is the face rigging, which all goes well and provides nice face rigging. The problem is, that after the face rigging process, it seems to destroy the neck / head deformations made by the body rigging stage. When i go to rotate the head, the skinning stretches and tears. I've tried this multiple times and every time the same problem.
I recorded a video, which can be seen here. Sadly the cursor wasn't picked up in the recording. Note the beginning of the video when i rotate the head, all looks relatively nice for a base ... then after ive completed the face rig stages, i do the same again and move the head, with terrible results.

I've tried to contact the devleopers, but sadly no response as yet.
Thanks
David
Genuinely curious how close would it be..

Saw a post about a magical butter knife that spread common condiments with but a phrase and I thought... what other ideas do people have in a similar spectrum?
Basically, the items should have situational uses (such as building a sandwich), but should not make or break a campaign. They shouldn't have any official combat uses. I am sure people can find uses for anything in combat, I have ideas regarding that butter knife in regard to heist traps...
Looking for ideas to gauge free inheritance items for a Feywild campaign I will be running. So... the odder, the better. This will also be high fantasy, so interesting trinkets like these will also be extremely common.
Here are some ideas from me and a friend:
