A list of puns related to "Exposure compensation"
I shot a basketball game in a poorly lit HS gymnasium. From the baseline, using a 35mm @ 1/500 f4, ISO 3200 and a 50mm @ 1/640 f3.2, ISO 3200.
They are mostly on the edge of being too dark, but when I boost the exposure just using iPhoto, they look pretty good.
As you may already suspect, Iβm a novice. I think I might be able to use exposure compensation on my D7000 to get better results right from the camera. But even after reading a couple of sources, Iβm having trouble figuring it out.
Can anyone give me a gentle bit of help? Thanks!
Hello,
I am very new to analog photography and today I made a (or another) mistake. I shot 2 rolls of film in manual mode and used an external lightmeter app on my phone. At home I realized that I had EV set to -1. Is there any way to compensate for this when I develop the film? Would decreasing ISO help in that case or should I simply develop using the ISO I used when metering and hope for the best?
Thank you,
s1lo

My camera is Olympus OM-D E-M1. How do I change the exposure compensation on manual?
When using a 1.4 teleconverter, should I add at least 1 F stop exposure compensation?
I recently just picked up a Canon A1 and have already shot my first roll of film however I just found out I shot the whole roll with the exposure compensation set on 4. Is there anything I can tell who develops my film to correct this or will it even be any problem at all?
What is the lighten/darken switch functionally changing inside the camera?
I accidentally shot a whole roll of Kodak gold 200 on my Contax g1 on +2 & I didnβt notice until I finished the roll. How can I correct the exposure or will this affect final picture at all?
Hi I am a medic in the ER I recently tested positive for Covid. I had a work related exposure that was very significant. This was all documented at the time.
The health department is making me take 15 days off work. I am not being compensated in any way by my Department or Hospital. Is this common? They said if I was wearing my PPE I am 100% safe, and got covid outside of work.
This is how they treat frontline workers? Our Thanks for risking our lives. They call us Heros but turn their backs on us when we get sick. Anyone else experience this? Anything I can do?
Hi there!
I found a Polaroid 600 P-Cam. It seems to be one of the last vintage models and the last round model before Polaroid introduced the Polaroid One 600 series. Probably from 1993-97. It is made in China contrary to earlier models that had been made in the UK or USA.
This camera has no exposure compensation slider, which I find odd.
Does anyone know if they put in better electronics like in the Polaroid One or Spectra series so they were confident that the exposure compensation was no longer needed? The electric eye is still covered by a filter foil with diagonal black stripes but I see no way to move this filter.
The other features like the main lens, close-up lens and flash override button are the same as in earlier models. Just tested it with a old film pack and a spare dark slide, seems to work.
Does anyone use this camera and how good are the pictures?

Hi all,
I noticed today that the exposure compensation dial on my X-T3 is unable to select +1/3, with the onscreen display indicating no exposure compensation.
When I try and select +2/3 comp, the on screen display flickers between +1/3 and 2/3. All other compensations work fine, including the C mode.
Is this due to some dust or similar that has caught within the dial? Or perhaps moisture? (I know it's supposed to be weather resistant)
