[WTS] British Empire and Commonwealth Notes (including Australia, Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, British Caribbean, British Honduras, Canada, Cayman Islands, East Caribbean, England, Fiji, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, India, Isle of Man, Jamaica, Jersey, Scotland)

Proof / Full Album (specific country / territory links below)

First off, sorry for the long list (apparently I must like tables or something). Lots of options, including several rarer items, with everything priced to be lower than eBay sold listings that I could locate. In case someone happens to be interested in buying everything, the total would be $536 if purchased separately based on the below prices, but you can take everything for $450 shipped priority.

Check out my other posts below for more notes (prices dropped from original posting), and feel free to PM me if you are looking for notes from any other particular countries. I have a LOT more than what is listed here.

- Japanese Notes

Reasonable offers will be considered, and please let me know of any questions. Thanks for looking!

Do Scots regard Scotland as the coloniser or colonised irt the British Empire?

This is a good faith question and I appreciate the answer may well be a little from column A and a little from column B. I am completely for independence if that's what you guys fancy, makes sense and I think it'll work well. Just hope we can work together on stuff like climate change etc.

Anyway onto the question. I myself am English but ethnically South Asian, my particular ethnic group suffered a genocide caused and encouraged by the British empire so suffice to say I'm not a fan. As far as I know and understand Scottish people were a part of that. Sometimes seeing independence rhetoric that paints Scotland as just another colony of the empire makes me a little frustrated.

I understand Scottish people have suffered through being a part of the UK at points. But some Scots also participated in colonising those other countries?

I've tried googling this topic but obviously just got polemics and quora responses so I was wondering if anyone had given this any thought.

I hope this question makes sense.

The DariΓ©n Gap, where Colombia and Panama meet, is so inhospitable that it's the only gap in the 19,000 mile Pan-American Highway. In the 18th century, Scotland's failed attempt to start an overseas empire there led directly to the creation of the United Kingdom.
