Yes, I'm aware some of these are technically released, but none of them are actually on Electra Heart. Also, why would you swap it out?

Edit: Just realized I didn't include my own opinion. I love every song on EH, but I think I'd replace 'Hypocrates' with 'Electra Heart' as it fits the theme better. Honestly, I think all these songs should be on a (hypothetical) deluxe version of EH, but the fact 'Electra Heart', the song, was included in the chronological music video collection without being on the album is so aggravating! If it wasn't, I'd say 'E.V.O.L.' or 'Lonely Hearts Club' because they fit the theme so well, though I feel like they all do. Thanks for sharing your opinions with me :)

Maybe (probably) an unpopular opinion, and please don’t get me wrong - I am so happy for Marina now and love her current music, etc…but I just love everything about Electra Heart, and would’ve loved to see maybe even a tiny bit more of it! Songs similar to what’s on the album, but even just the aesthetic - the blonde hair, the pink floofy dresses…Primadonna is, and will forever be, my life anthem, so there’s a part of me that wanted it to exist forever…oh well!

Anyone feel this way about another album/phase? I’m sure FROOT is a popular one too!

I've been a Diamond for too long, and one of my favorite album is Electra Heart, but I always ask myself... why is it so memorable... like, maybe because it's really, really original, or the album visual is so beautiful, maybe 'cause it's so relatable, or just 'cause meirnas voice is just so beautiful, but maybe all this reasons fit well in this question, but I think it's because this album was really innovative for the period, I just feel so good listening to it, I really miss this era... 😔❤️

The creative and musical directions Marina took on this album made for a fantastic, Hollywood-level narrative on the album’s titular character and her life. These are presented through Marina’s fantastic songwriting skills.

Furthermore, the production is top-quality on this album. Homewrecker, for example, is a pulsing dance song, while Bubblegum Bitch is an electro-infused rock song. These contrast with Lies, which has a slower pace to it, but an absolutely killer electronic beat. On top of these, Fear and Loathing is a soft, minimally-produced ballad about how overwhelming the world can be.

Overall, this album is easily Marina’s best.

Anyone have pics? I’m curious - recently bought a shirt that features a design similar to one supposedly from that era.

Hey so I'm planning to be Electra heart for Halloween and I already got the makeup and hair figured out but I'm struggling with the outfit. Electra technically does not have a designated outfit more like an aesthetic. So my plan was to go to the thrift store and find something interesting there(mostly because I'm a cheap bitch but we won't talk about that)

I could go down the route of finding the most iconic pictures of Marina as Electra heart and try to l replicate her outfit or I could go the other route and just pick out some stuff that fits in the aesthetic.

I would love some ideas for clothing pieces or colors and I would love even more some links to some clothing that you guys think would fit. Thank you all in advance.

What is your favorite song from the Electra Heart album and why?

Mine would definitely have to be Valley of the Dolls. I love how Marina incorporates an electronic beat in the background and also choir-like vocals to accompany her. The lyrics also hit really hard. The phrase "dying like a shooting star" creates a vision of startling beauty that is fleeting. The brighter you burn, the quicker you burn out. The title of the song references the 1966 novel of the same name by Jacqueline Susann which was later adapted into the 1967 film. The book and movie describe the story of three women in New York seeking success, fame, and love but ultimately succumb to addiction.

So I discovered Marina not long ago. I did hear some songs of her electra heart album on YouTube and there was the song "electra heart" wich was supposed to be the last song on the album I suppose. She like dies or something. But when I listened to the album I waited for the song and it never came. After a quick search I found that the song just isn't on Spotify. Why is that? Thank u all in advanced:)

ok I was on spotify (I live in the US) and saw buy the stars, living dead and lonely hearts club on spotify but I didn't remember her ever announcing this/anyone noticing? weird but they are all in my playlist now :)
