I just watched TWINE the other day for the first time. While it isnβt perfect, I think it is a really good film because of the interactions between Bond and King. Why is she not often discussed as being a top tier Bond villain?
I guess she fits the stereotype of being a femme fatale, but how many femme fatales in movies are simultaneously manipulating the protagonist and the antagonist? I love how the movie not only dangles the βis she good or bad?β question but also asks viewers to consider βwho is really manipulating who?β amongst the bad guys/gals.
The scene where she tortures Bond is great. It might not have Casino Royale levels of grit but the chemistry between the two actors is great in the scene. I canβt tell if King is genuinely still sexual attracted to him or if she is just adding an element of psychological torture by kissing him as she slowly chokes him to death.
I wish the movie had handled her reveal as a villain in a more natural way, but other than that, I think she is brilliant.

Both Daredevil and Elektra will immediately forget Stick saved their lives and hit him in the face
Elektra killed a Chaste member as a youngling, which Stick said not to do
Elektra joins with Daredevil and says they will do things his way, not Sticks way (killing o_o)
Daredevil continuously punches KOed people in the face and thinks they're not dead
Elektra EXECUTES a young ninja right in front of Daredevil, saying she can't change who she is
Stick sends a guy after Elektra to kill her
Elektra kills the Chaste assassin Stick sent after her
Elektra MURDERS two other Chaste members in the vehicle
Elektra tries to kill Stick
Stick gets captured
Elektra tries to kill Stick, but Daredevil stops her
Elektra is respected by the Hand and they won't kill her
Elektra now commands all the ninja
Elektra instead of saying, as your Black Sky, Daredevil and Stick are now allies, she instead murders a ton of Ninjas infront of Daredevil
Daredevil again forgets he hates killing and doesn't mention it
Daredevil and Elektra team up to get Nobu
Daredevil fights alongside Elektra who is again skewering and killing Ninjas
Punisher randomly shows up and kills two Hand minions that Daredevil was already dispatching no problem.
Daredevil doesn't care Punisher killed them and gives thumbs up
Daredevil tosses Nobu off the roof with kill intent, after Elektra was accidentally killed while he was fighting Daredevil
I was rewatching the defendersβ¦and I couldnβt help but catch thatβ¦she doesnβt have her memoriesβ¦.neither does Buckyβ¦.and they both get snapped out of it by their name. Could there be a connection in the fact that there are βweaponsβ (meaning individuals that can take out others on command) in the black market like if there was some sort of recipe. Could this be a connection in Madripoor from The Falcon & The Winter Soldier? Could Elektra bridge that gap between the Netflix and the MCU? Could Bucky Barnes and Elektra be v1.0 and v0.1.0 of the same mind control scheme?

Dave says both of them looked like untrained people who had been thrown on TV. He was surprised by B-Fab's performance as she was trained by Booker T, who is a really good trainer and Booker's students like Rok-C and Sammy Guevara are very capable. Sammy was described as being fantastic.
He does not think NXT running one TV show a week is going to help their younger talent develop where they do one short match, when even their basics compared to independent wrestling school students are not good. They really need NXT running the house show circuit they did where their talent would do three to four shows a week in front of crowds.
In the past with NXT you would at least get logical booking and very good wrestling and they don't have that now so in future weeks it may drop like a stone.
Ridge Holland's match was described as being adequate and the best Kyle O'Reilly could get out of him when he could do a match 50 times better in his own style. The Dexter-Indi honeymoon segment was the best received part of the show.
Jessica jones is one of my favourite marvel characters and it sucks that they donβt have the series on the app. Also iβd love to read sensational she hulk but they are missing a bunch of issues
