A list of puns related to "Effects of legalized cannabis"
All the german users will already know this, but for everybody else: Cannabis will be legalized in Germany. Yesterday the recently elected new government (social democrats/greens/liberals) announced that they intend to enact a law legalizing cannabis.
So far I could find only german news, but here are the most important facts:
- The law is not yet enacted and it will take some time until it will be. The details are not worked out yet and I can't imagine they will be able to do it this year
- Personal possession of cannabis will be legalized, trade will be legalized and regulated
- The plan is for cannabis to be sold in "licensed stores" only to adults, meaning it won't be sold in supermarkets. Probably the sale will be highly regulated
- For examples, there have been ideas to not legalize the sale of "flavored thc products", which would mean no normal edibles.
- The plan is to root out the black market and supply people with quality control. But there also will be taxation
- User information, rehabilitation and such is supposed to be important
Besides weed legalization there are some other drug related things:
- Marketing and advertisement for tobacco, alcohol and cannabis will be more restricted
- Drug Checking for illegally owned drugs will ne legalized
I'm just curious how many people on this sub use CBD rich cannabis because THC-rich cannabis isn't available to them, or involves potential legal hassles.
I'm in a legal state and for me hemp flower is more conducive to me being a father and busy professional who is sensitive to THC and can't be zoned out very often in my life (EDIT: Didn't mean to imply that people can't be successful and functional high, just not me!). What about y'all?
