Sweet girl, Summer, cooling off at the dog park! Poor girl has an ear infection from lake swimming so NO swimming for a month while they heal and the medicine works. Not being able to swim in the middle of summer is TORTURE for a poodle!

Hi guys, I’m in Australia so it’s almost 1am. I’ve just woken up to my dogs face swollen, ear swollen and around his nose swollen, he has little bumps around his eye, nose and in his ear. Can someone please tell me what this could be? Heat rash? Hives? Thanks heaps

My mom caught my dead dog barking while playing with her new cat. You have to listen with headphones and cover your ears to block out excess noise. A few seconds in you’ll hear a bark that sounds exactly like Buddies (died in 2020).

I recently quit school to do art full time, and I've been stressed about being good enough. Today, instead worrying about making something ~good~, I drew a hot dog with fluffy ears.
picked up some smoked pig’s ears for my dogs. This human looking war was in the bag. (Pls excuse the messy background)
I created a shingled gable end on my lake house with a custom fish design using cheap dog-eared fence boards. Roast me. :)

just to update - i posted a few weeks ago about my crappy balloon dog tat. i got it fixed yesterday with some dotwork and sparkles to distract a little. the lines on the ears are still blown out of course but she did a great job i think - i’m so much happier with it!!

Toby’s never ending eye injury. Been in a cone for 4 months (3 dog years if you ask him), and now has a nasty ear infection in on top of it. Going in for another keratectomy tomorrow, and if we don’t see significant improvement in the next week the discussion moves to removing the eye. 😢
I accidentally cut a dogs ear
So yesterday I was clipping a schnauzers ears to leather and they moved suddenly to bark at another dog and I just caught it on the edge with my clippers. The dog didn’t even seem to notice and I administered first aid and the owner was fine. But I just feel like I’m useless at my job now and I feel horrible. I’m dreading going to work today as I just know my boss will scream at me for it. Has anyone else had a similar issue before as I just feel like I’m so useless now I’ve also been grooming about 10 months so I’m pretty new to it and it’s my first cut on a dog

Beautiful lab(dog) was found abandoned in front of Mahadevapura lake
So, while I was walking my pet I found this male adult white/fawn lab dog which was collared up but left on its own. The shopkeepers around said he has been here since the morning. He was sitting in the sun and waiting for it’s owner like a good boy. I offered water, he refused. My wife and I brought the lab home by giving him some treats. He understands commands and walked with us into our house. Had a sip of water and couple of bites of food. But he is dearly missing his home. What’s the quickest way to find his owners or rehome him?

I work in a pretty inner city area for one of our clinics and we refuse to do ear cropping, and I always give a reasonable explanation as to why we don't do it when people call asking. (It's one of those areas where "scary dogs" is an aesthetic.) Today a girl came in with her 4 month old puppy who had the cutest floppy ears ever when I last saw him, and she had some back room piece of trash neighbor crop his poor ears. They looked horrible, they were infected and I just wanted to throw her across the room, like why would you do this to your poor sweet baby? She's one of those girls who thinks owning a pit is an aesthetic and some bullshit pick me badge. I go absolutely insane when mutilation is a cosmetic choice you make for someone you are responsible for. (Yeah, I'm looking at you too, tail docking.)
Finally a way to use all my extra Bluey's! I painted my son as a dog in Bluey so they can play together (the black and silver dog with pink ears). 🖤💙😂
