A list of puns related to "Disconnector"
I am on a client site with several ABB 600A non-fused disconnects (see https://www.rexelusa.com/p/456662/abb/disconnect-non-fused-600a-3p-600vac-terminal-bolt-included/ot600u03)
Yesterday I was working in a cabinet on their site, and so I had the disconnect for its supply (let's call this Supply A) in the OFF position and locked out using a formal LOTO padlock with a completed tag, through the red pull-out tab in the switch handle.
I had to go back to the disconnect to lockout another supply (let's call it Supply B) where the switch was in the same room.. Whilst I was there another electrician from a different contractor came up to Supply A... Saw my padlock but just grabbed the handle really hard and was able to force it to the ON position, energising the supply that, several minutes earlier, I'd had my hands in on the understand that it was locked out. (of course I could have stepped in, but as I was the only person working on that circuit I figured nobody was at risk so decided to get a photo of it instead so it could be reported).
Through a translator I ascertained that he was at the time changing the supply to the disconnect and wanted to test it. I said "but what about my padlock", he just shrugged. The contractor is now trying to pass this off as just poor communication between different contractors, totally overlooking the fact they dismissed my lockout completely.
Anyway... I just wanted to ask (we have walked off site and are dealing with the situation from the hotel) has anybody come across these disconnects before and how is it possible to force it with a lockout padlock in the lockout tab? I thought that was meant to be a mechanical impossibility. Is it possible the switch could have been modified or damaged to allow it to still be energised when locked out?
This has left me quite shaken up as if he'd come to work 10 minutes earlier I would now be toast. But as much as I want disciplinary action for ignoring the tag, I also feel we need to understand how it was even possible to energise it whilst locked out.
Any thoughts really appreciated
So in these images, my disconnector broke where I imagine most break, and since I'm not able to grab a spare at this time, I disconnected the spring, pushed the disconnector forward and temporarily pinned it there with 2 pieces of plastic, and the gun works 100%, on both semi and full-auto.. so my question is what does the disconnector actually supposed to do?
So, I've heard that the disconnector spring needs to be stretched a bit because is too strong, but if I take that out will the MP9 still work?
Hello, im trying to sync my on-prem AD environment with installed Azure Active Director Connector and I want to sync some of users but via group not OU. I use Wizard with custom settings. I have a group inside the OU that I specified during installation. I have specified this group in the next step (Sync -> Filtering). Everything is fine if we are talking about users from OU but it doesnt sync users from group. I noticed that these users are "Disconnector". User and Group also has a specified mail on AD object.
i made a torpedo boat where the shells are made of disconnectors and they need to be motor locked but when i launch the disconnectors just fall off can anyone help ples

All in the first 5 matches. I'm getting real lucky today.
We recently migrated and upgraded our Azure AD Connect onto new servers due to needing Server 2019 for v2. Did an import and export of settings and mostly everything looks OK.
Except, our sync times have gone from typically under 1 minute to over 5 - due to 20,000 disconnectors on the sync stages.
I've checked the old servers, and these only had around 400 disconnectors.
I cannot see any significant changes in our AD or AAD, and double checked the imported vs applied settings - all seems fine.
Anyone else seen anything like this? I know that disconnectors should just be filtered objects, but I'd like to know what they are.
