A list of puns related to "Directivity"
Hello, please bare with my weak english, i need your advices onto how to not get confused when the car gets upside down, or when the camera faces the nose of my car.
I quicky get confused and get my right/left/up and down wrong, making me the most useless car in the air, when i try too hard on freeplay i almost make it but quickly loose it if i need to think fast.
How did you manage to get used to it ? Did you have a routine in freeplay ? Or maybe some workshop map or mod ? Or am i just dumb and can't score an aerial goal ?
Please help..
They've cat to be kitten be if they think that they can get porpoisely through this nintendo direct speech without letting minnow any info or at least ratting out a release date. Watching owl of it for nothing but irrelephant releases for otter fans would be unbearable, hawkward, and not emusing for the animal crossing fans. They'll need to release info soon to stop us from (animal) crossing the line. If they do not, we may have to beat them with our bear hands and beary them. I'd be lion if I said that I don't think the animal crossing fans would be toadally angry with nintendo after this; we would not find it sealy at all. Our regularly pawsitive community would only be able to say "Deer nintendo, you our now our anemone. Buck you. We give zero fox about your games anymore. Howl could you do this to us?? You have herd us too much and we believe that you as a company are an otter disgrace to the gaming industry. Only releasing info will finally allow us to give you our seal of approval."
I had messaged this to my friend yesterday as a joke (before the Nintendo Direct stream of course since it was today) and had no intention of posting it, but after they never mentioned anything about Animal Crossing (or Pokemon) on the stream I feel like it is pretty relevant.
I hope that it quacks you up!
Here is a pic of my mouse control panel. I have no idea what I am doing, did not know I was going to have to fool with all this when I ordered the mouse. I could go back to using a plain old wireless mouse (this one is wireless also btw) but would like to learn how to do this.
My problem is, I have the mouse configured to do beautifully in games (not sure what I did at all but I like it) however, when trying to get the pointer to click on a certain box or link etc, it's really difficult to hit that sweet spot. I wonder, which of the controls on the control panel should I be fiddling with to try to tweak that? It's driving me nuts when using it to interact online, but great in games as it is.
The most obvious question to me here is - why would any company feel the need report the number of shares that are directly registered to individuals?
I donโt have the wherewithal to investigate this deeply enough - a few minutes on Google led me to a lot of explanations of DRS but no specific share counts by anyone. perhaps one of you wrinkle brains might be able to shed light on whether companies typically (or ever, honestly) report the count of DRS they have in an SEC filing for any reason.
Essentially if companies just DONโT do that generally, the only logical conclusion is that itโs a messageโฆ DIRECTLY (pun alert) to us, right?

I'm working with linear velocity in love.physics, and want to change the direction of a moving object by n degrees, but struggling to work out the correct math. Is there a simple trick to this, or can anyone point me in the right direction (pun intrnded) to learn it?
Hello, I'm kinda new here but I recently purchased a onexplayer 1s core I7-1195g7. I had a bit of a rough start given that I'm an American and the latest models all come preloaded with windows 10 Chinese versions. however I figured it out and everything has been running smoothly after that. But one reoccurring problem that I've been facing lately has to do with converting the analog sticks and button controls from controller to mouse.
https://preview.redd.it/dohas9dpvs581.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8067ea0617f020ff4db4ecf14cebabf16ba73e64
At first everything, like I said before, was going smoothly until I started connecting another controller to the device to play steam games while being "docked". Then I started to noticed after a long play session that the controller to mouse action started to act weird. it would randomly move the mouse to the right without me touching the analog stick. I did a bit of research and found that this was probably a steam issue, so I deleted steam and reinstalled it and it worked fine. (Also keep in mind that this was windows 10). Then I decided to download windows 11 and started playing some games while it was "docked" and sure enough the problem reappeared. However after attempting to uninstall and reinstall steam it didn't seem to fix the issue. idk if this is a windows 11 thing combined with a steam thing or what. But regardless id like some help, pointing me in the "right direction" (pun intended).
Iโve been playing with Bevy and Iโve hit a situation that I cannot quite figure out. Iโve got some entities running around, and the natural next step is to make one entity follow another.
My first thought was to add a target field to one of my components, holding the Entity to be targeted. I could then look up the position of that entity and head in that direction. That was trivial and worked just fine. The problem started when I tried to make the follower lead the target so as to approach it more quickly.
Hereโs the query I used:
q: QuerySet<(
Query<(&GlobalTransform, Option<&Orbit>, Option<&Flight>)>,
Query<(Entity, &mut Flight, &mut Transform), (With<Fleet>, With<Gradient>)>)>
The first query gets me the position of every entity, plus whichever movement style it has. The second gets me all the entities that are chasing something. The borrow checker rightly complains when I try to open both queries at once, because I could potentially be given both an &Flight and a &mut Flight that point at the same thing. Now obviously I pinky swear that nobody will ever target themselves and therefore this wonโt happen in practice, but thatโs not good enough.
Is this a common problem with a common solution?
The only thing I can think to do is to split this into two steps: first find anything with a target and copy the targetโs movement style to a new component (TargetMotion, letโs say), then find everything with a TargetMotion and compute their motion based on that information. But that seems like itโs going to cause me problems because the same information is now stored in two places. Iโd appreciate it if someone could steer me in the right direction (pun intended), or even point me at some existing project that implements something similar.
My young cousin and her wife just bought a house. Their projected move-in date is May 15 (when the renovations, etc., will be complete).
They are young, healthy women and like many young, healthy people don't feel the level of concern I think these times call for. And that's fine. Honestly, lucky them! It's probably psychologically better to feel so...without worry.
Still, though, I thought about giving them a housewarming gift that would give them just a nudge in the prepper direction (pun intended!) and I'm looking for advice.
I recently bought an old steamer trunk from the days when the wealthy traveled with an enormous amount of luggage on luxury boats like the Titanic. I am having a brass plate made with their names and the date of their wedding and thought about filling the trunk with prepper items -- hand cranked flashlights and radios, solar panels for charging phones, MREs, lighters, N-95 masks, nitrile gloves, a basic First Aid kit, antibacterial soap, LifeStraw or Sawyer water filtration, candles, multitool, 14 day emergency food supply from Mountain House, two hundred dollars in five and ten dollar bills, maps of their town and state, books for new homeowners on how to fix plumbing, electricity, etc., the book Just In Case How to be Self-Sufficient When the Unexpected Happens, by Kathy Harrison, etc.
I also got them some movies and books, the most important is probably Gone With The Wind. I know -- hear me out! That book is about survival. It's about the unexpected happening and you see how people survive, what traits you need when the world you know vanishes. Yes, I know it's totally racist and sexist and problematic, but my cousin loves what she calls "old-timey" stuff historical fiction, etc. This could be a way for her to see a story about survival, both long-term and then for short term something like Titanic.
I was also thinking Jeremiah Johnson and the 1984 version of Red Dawn, but I don't think she and her wife would be as into stuff that focuses on men.
I want to find stuff that she and her wife can actually use in a sudden emergency situation and stories she will find engaging and educational. She told me she loves movie night with her wife and the they love reading and discussing the same books, so this would be fun for them.
I could also use something like Gone With The Wind to discuss the importance of preparing, of being flexible and innovative. She also used to love Little House on the Prairie and there's one calle

S1 E17: 1D (One Direction), Minecraft and Connecticon - 12420 Subscriber Celebration - Published 18 July, 2012.
It's Joe Hills's birthday this weekend! What better way is there to celebrate an OG Hermit getting older than to roll back the clock to Season 1 when Joe was a bachelor?
This is a slice-of-life talky video in which JoeHills is as JoeHillsy as he can possibly get. But it's also a time capsule. Hermitcraft was at this point only 4 months old so it's a great snapshot of the server in its earliest days.
He talks about going to Connecticon. He describes what it's like to see someone subscribe to his channel on their phone right in front of him. He pranks GenerikB's base with a bunch of One Direction puns just because Genny was the only person online at the time. He talks about his plans for his (then) upcoming wedding. He talks about his comic book, fundraising to publish his RPG and fundraising for a new computer. Genny tries to kill him. At the end of the video he does a quick run through the S1 nether hub and spawn town to see what people have been up to.
The Tennessee accent was much heavier and he wasn't a dad yet, but what strikes me the most is how similar early Joe is to modern Joe. 3 levels of XP, no enchanted gear, no building, just Joe rambling and pranking someone with puns about a band whose music he'd never heard. If it weren't for the presence of Genny it would be hard to tell that this didn't come from Season 6.
Genny comments on the prank at the start of S1 E33 - Hermit Explosions!!!

Following up on my previous post a few friends of mine (who both happen to be blind too - what a party) and I decided to use this flight credit I had sitting on my account. I got everything booked today and miraculously we all have relatively cheap flights, with one main connector.
I also have AA Gold and was curious since I've never done this before; can I use my 3 500-mile-upgrades to attempt to bump everyone up to first? I'm not familiar with the process and am unsure if I can do it for more than one person, per the website. Could someone point me in the right direction? (pun intended).
Thanks!
> It is often desired that a transducer have a polar radiation pattern that is invariant with frequency, but there is currently no way of quantifying the extent to which a transducer possesses this quality (often called โconstant directivityโ or โcontrolled directivityโ). To address the problem, commonly-accepted criteria are used to propose two definitions of constant directivity. The first, stricter definition, is that the polar radiation pattern of a transducer should be invariant over a specified frequency range, whereas the second definition is that the directivity factor (i.e., the ratio between the on-axis power spectrum and the average power spectrum over all directions), or index when expressed in dB, should be invariant with frequency. Furthermore, to quantify each criterion, five metrics are derived: (1) Fourier analysis of contour lines (i.e., lines of constant sensitivity over frequency and angle), (2) directional average of frequency response distortions, (3) distortion thresholding of polar responses, (4) standard deviation of directivity index, and (5) cross-correlation of polar responses. Measured polar radiation data for four loudspeakers are used to compute all five metrics that are then evaluated based on their ability to quantify constant directivity. Results show that all five metrics are able to quantify constant directivity according to the criterion on which each is based, while only two of them, metrics 4 and 5, are able to adequately quantify both proposed definitions of constant directivity.

Hi everyone, or at least those who are reading this, I decided that I wanted to get back into ESO and I thought Iโd join the subreddit too, for guidance purposes.
Basically, I remember when this game was released on console, back in June of 2015. My friends who I played with at the time were big fans of the Elder Scrolls series, as was I too, and when we heard it was releasing for console we were hyped since weโd be able to play together. When it did release, we played for a good month or two on and off, because we played a bunch of other games too.
Some time passed, Iโm not sure what happened, but we all stopped playing and I didnโt exactly want to continue as a solo. However, I kept playing for a bit and realised that I wasnโt exactly doing well on my own, so I stopped playing as well. It was hard because I loved the game and it was one of my favourite games to play at the time, but I lost the enjoyment since my friends had stopped.
A year or so later, I tried to play again, and I actually really enjoyed it... except I fell back out of touch with it after week or so of playing.
And now! Half way through 2020, completely lacking in the DLC and people to play with department (besides my OH who will try it out with me, Iโm downloading it again.
All 72gb of it...
#QUESTION TIME!
Since my previous build was a sorcerer, and I really enjoyed playing as that build, Iโd like to know if anyone could point me in the Wright direction (pun intended) in achieving the optimal build for this style of character. I kinda strolled into the build blindly, as it was nothing like Skyrim, so I definitely messed up in some places unknowingly.
Providing this doesnโt get taken down, thank you to anyone who took the time to read and or kick me on the right path, any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!
Where is the mic directivity setting at in manual video? My V20 had a bubble that i could slide and was always there in manual mode. I dont see it and I cant find it on the V60.
Hi, I started working with antennas not long ago and I have a very simple (and maybe stupid) question:
Suppose I have a set of datas organized as a matrix where the first column is phi, the second is theta and the third is the electric field module. The phi column goes from 0 degrees to 360 degrees and for every value of phi theta goes from 0 to 180 degree. How do i get the directivity of such antenna?
Thanks for everyone who's willing to help
I don't think I've ever jumped out of bed the way I did this morning after watching the roadmap video, promptly terrifying my roommate in the process (Shoutout to Malicious Metal for the direct pun by Reav3). After the initial shock wore off and I finished thinking back on what a journey it's been for League's resident tin man from health pot stacking monstrosity to a controversial melee botlane rework to now, I wanted to open a discussion to speculate about just what we could dream and expect from a true full scale VGU that will give him a meaningful place in the game's modern state
THE GAMEPLAY
Riot has explicitly stated they are reworking Morde into a solo lane, AP Juggernaut. Whether he'll be a champ that only goes a couple AP items into tank or still builds full AP is something we won't know until we get further details about the kit itself. However this alone is a great reassurance that he's going to be a brutal frontlining menance the likes of Darius and Illaoi rather than being the deceptive, fragile tin can with comparable base stats to the floating pair of musically gifted tits that is Sona
If there's two things I'm completely certain of on the gameplay front, it's that the current functionality of his passive Iron Man and his Ultimate are likely not to be retained. Why, you say?
Because DIRECT damage to shielding/healing has proven on multiple occasions to be an utter nightmare to balance, and that not only does his ultimate thematically clash with Yorick, it is also by far the largest source of his bugginess. Riot's gotten a lot better over the years with pet AI, but I just can't help but think this would be the prime oppurtunity to do something spectacular that would hit their goal of making him a viable option in today's metagame. To put it simply
A.How do we make Mordekaiser an enticing, desirable option in the Juggernaut subclass. What will he bring to the table to a team comp that will make up for his clear, glaring weaknesses innate to his subclass?
B.How do we accomplish A in a way that doesn't step too hard on the toes of other, similar champions like Yorick etc.
THE THEME
Mordekaiser since his inception has been thought of as a ruthless, living body of armor that grows stronger with the suffering of his enemies. Since the lore rework a few years ago the lore team has done a great job in both my mind of fleshing out his backstory (Former Barbaraian King that literally built the fortress Noxus considers it's

Hey everyone, thank you for taking the time to read my post. I need help choosing a 4 port coupler for a single frequency of 120 Mhz that is for a high power application of about 6kw and can maintain high directivity -20db+ and coupling -40db+
Thank you in advance if you have any ideas in mind. All advice is appreciated!

>Dangerous prisoners are gathered together on the Prison Planet.
>Cumber (Evil Saiyan): "Fight with me!"
>Goku and co. stand against an approaching menace
>Vegeta: "Is this a Saiyan? I've never felt such an evil ki before! What's wrong, Kakarot?!"
>New Dragon Balls
>Fu: "The most interesting experiment in the universe finally enters its main phase!"
>Vegetto: "Cumber! The fight's on!"
>Goku: "Don't miss it!"
>*Prison Planet arc promotion anime
Starts streaming July 1st, 2018!
More commentary from Herms:
>Yes, Space Hannibal Lecter's proper name is ใซใณใใผ/Kanbฤ, a fairly direct pun on "cucumber" (ใญใฅใผใซใณใใผ/kyลซkanbฤ), so "Cumber" is the appropriate English spelling. Sticking with "Kanba" is like calling the prince of Saiyans "Bejita".
According to Herms, the anime will be streamed (probably on the website) on the same day as it premiers in Japan.
>The DB Heroes anime website says ep.1 will begin streaming (้ ไฟก) on July 1st, the same day it'll be screened at Ion Lake Town. I assume this means it'll stream on the actual site on the Movie page, although they're still not super clear on this.
Still no information on subtitles, so don't count on it.
For those who don't know, Dragon Ball Heroes is a Japanese arcade and card game which has never been exported or localized. There is a promotional manga for the game that is published in Saikyล Jump.
Just a reminder: no TV broadcast for this anime was announced, which means there probably won't be one. It's expected to be very short, maybe just a few 10-minute episodes, maybe more, but probably not a full-cour anime. And in case you missed it, this has nothing to do with the Universe Survival arc; there was unfortunately some misinformation spread with the initial announcement.
Summary of the V-Jump announcement from Herms:
>It's a "promotional anime" adapting the story of the Prison Planet arc, coming "summer 2018" with an advance screening of episode 1 on July 1st in AEON LakeTown (a shopping mall in Saitama). There will also be a page for this anime

Assassin Paraiso, Caster Limbo, Saber Empyrio, Archer Inferno, Lancer Purgatorio. Unlike the other EoR Servants with unknown names, these are actually "titles" -- referred to within the plot as Blasphemous Names (ๅฟๅ, imina); though, technically speaking, in Japanese culture, there's a practice of avoiding verbal use of one's "True Name" (ๅฟใฟๅ, imina) -- a name that differs from a given name in conventional use, which typically appears only in funerary use, when the individual is honored as of becoming a Buddha or a God.
ๅฟใฟ (imi) is a difficult-to-translate term that is typically rendered to English as "abstinence" or "taboo," with the implication that violation / use of a particular tabooed item or violation of strictures related to the execution of a taboo is inadmissible and wrong, usually for religious reasons.
In any case, technically speaking, the Servant Titles in Shimousa are the names attributed to their "weapons" (ๅ, jin, "blade") -- but as they themselves have become as weapons as a result of being embedded with the Imposed Karma of Issai Ousatsu (ใไธๅ้ๆฎบใใฎๅฎฟๆฅญ), they might as well be referring to themselves. Also, they're self-proclaimed corpses -- and so a funerary name might be fitting.
Incidentally, though the Servant Titles sound like parts of the Divine Comedy, within-setting, they refer to places within the believed cosmology of the Japanese Crypto-Christians -- Paraiso, Limbo, Empyrio, Inferno, Purgatorio. The two Oni are assigned with names of places in Hell from the Buddhist / Hindu cosmology -- Kalasutra Naraka (้ป็นฉๅฐ็, kokujou jigoku, "the hell of the black cords"), which punishes thieves; and Samghata Naraka (็พๅๅฐ็, shuugou jigoku, "the hell of crowding"), which punishes debauchery. In the Inferno of Dante, they would presumably be equivalent to the 4th Circle and the 2nd Circle of Hell respectively.
The Heroic Spirit Blademasters:
Issai Ousatsu was described in some detail in my previous post, and so I won't cover the precise manner in which it creates the Blademasters. Note that the formal description of the Heroic Spirit Blademasters (่ฑ้ๅฃ่ฑช, eirei kengou) is, "The Silhouettes (ๅฝฑๆณๅธซ, kageboushi) of those carved unto the Human Order. Not wraiths (ไบก้, bourei), not evil spirits (ๆช้, akuryou), not vengeful spirits (ๆจ้, onryou). Certainly not Heroic Spirits (่ฑ้, eirei)."
They aren't wraiths, because their base existences are as Heroic Spirits; they

> When performing microphone measurements, all obstacles that may disturb the sound field around the microphone are removed. The microphone may even be suspended by thin wires to ensure that the influence of a mic stand is avoided. In real life, some microphones are managed somewhat differently, handheld microphones in particular. Some artists even prefer to cover most of the microphone grid with their hand (โcuppingโ). This habit affects the performance of the microphone. This paper presents measurements of the influence of five different hand positions on handheld vocal microphones. Both frequency response and directivity are measured.
