Their Wikipedia states that they’re part of the Digil Clan?
But the Dir Clan Wikipedia has them listed as a Dir Clan (listing them as Mahe Dir along with Bimaal and Surre?)
I’ve also seen them listed as part of the Gardhere Clan along with the Degoodi and Galje’el?
I’ve heard of the Dir and Digil clans of course, but I’ve never heard of the Gardhere clan.
I’ve seen a lot of maps list Degoodi as Darod, so I’m also surprised to see them as Gardhere?
Can anyone please explain? Sorry for my ignorance, I’m a Majeerteen born in London so I’m unfamiliar with many of the clans and subclans with the exception of Harti Darod sub clans so I’d be grateful if anyone could help Inshallah.
From my reading I learned that these two clans constitute part of the 5 noble clans. I also read somewhere that both Isaac and Dir are actually the same. This confused me because if they are the same and are a sub-clan of the Dir, why then do the Isaacs refer to themselves as Isaacs and not Dir? 🤔

This movie is exceptional on its own. Regardless of genre. Such a great mix of horror and comedy. Every actor gives 100% at the very least. And I especially appreciate the scene where the adults come into contact with the demonic jack in the box for the very first time. Their reactions are so genuine. Grown people with children to consider just reacting in full terror to this monstrosity, so good.
Ich mag diese Frage von US-Amerikanern, wo das ja Standard ist, gar nicht. Meine innersten Gefühle will ich nicht mit Fremden teilen, gleichzeitig hab ich keine Lust mit einem oberflächlichen „Gut, und dir?“ zu antworten, wenn das vllt gar nicht der Fall ist. Wie ist das bei euch? Wie reagiert ihr auf die Frage?
Ich bin jetzt über Weihnachten ein paar Wochen bei den Eltern und das Läuft eigentlich ganz gut. Ein Thema, dass jedoch immer wieder aufkommt ist bezüglich meiner "hitzigen Bekleidung".
Im haus hat's e schon deutlich über 20 Grad, und dann sitz ich da in der Küche kurzärmlig "minding my own business" und dann kommt einer der beiden daher und sagt mir, dass ich mir unbedingt eine Weste anziehen soll da ich mich sonst verkühle.
Meines Wissens nach gibt's keine nachgewiesene Kausalität zwischen kalten Wetter/kühler Luft und einer Erkältung. Ist ja alles ein Virus. Aber ist egal wie oft ich das erwähne, es kommt immer wieder.
Ich weiß natürlich sie meinen's gut und das schätz ich ja eh Wert, aber es wird halt manchmal etwas mühsam. Und oben drauf hab ich mich dann wirklich verkühlt was natürlich meine Argumentationskraft schwächt.
Wie ist das so bei euch?
Ich fange mal an. Nutellabrot mit Wurst schmeckt besser als es klingt, will mir aber keiner glauben.
