A list of puns related to "Dinner for Schmucks"
##Blackwater Bay, 229 AC
As the cog lurched forth towards the harbor, Willimet grew a tad anxious. While the men under his command were by no means any true threat, he wasn't sure how the locals- or the Gold Cloaks, more importantly- would take to a half-foreign knight marching in with a group of cavalrymen. Slinking back down into the cabin, he had a brief bout of inspiration, and began to write.
.... the procession consisted of a hundred armed men. They looked rougher than anyone in the Capital but us. At their head rode a dark figure on the biggest black stallion I'd ever seen..... I was disturbed. Had they come off from the strange ship in the harbor?.....
Hopping off the ship, Willimet sent the men off to find accommodations, along with regrouping with the men he'd sent overland. He and Addam, meanwhile, would go around the city, hopefully finding a suitable patron for his grandiose idea of a knightly order.
I am a man who has worn out practically all of his clothes and equipment over the years am looking to buy a new set. This is prompted by the fact that I am taking a 3 month trip through Europe next year with my wife and that I am changing careers so my equipment membership benefits are gonna expire. This is my first big personal trip in about 5 years, I travel for work but this is different.
The majority of our destinations are cities, traveling by trains, but throughout our trip we are taking some smaller excursions through the wilderness. We are going all over from Spain to Hungary and Scotland to Greece, but the actual itinerary is still being worked over. The excursions hopefully include dog sledding in Sweden, a trek by Via Ferritas routes from hut to hut in the Alps, a canoe route through France and trail riding in Greece. Hopefully.
We will be traveling mid March through mid June and will be taking everything in carry-on sized backpacks.
any advice for a carry-on size trekking/alpine pack would be appreciated
As we travel we can ship home some of our unnecessary clothing as the environment changes.
Also as we travel we will be taking rests; 1 week a month in a single location to rest and relax. During these times we occasionally buy some casual clothes specific to the region to better blend in and have as mementos.
So here is where I need your help. I have never been to Europe. I need a staple wardrobe that will keep me warm enough to enjoy Norway in March, and cool enough for Crete in May. And fit roughly in a carry-on without having me look like a fashion ignorant schmuck or a standout tourist.
Thanks so much for any advice.
EDIT: Budget? send me whatever you think. If it doesn't fit in the budget then I can at least find something like it.

I originally purchased RDRII for the PS4 Pro because that is where my family and friends play. However, some are not getting until Christmas and online isnโt out yet (albeit we will probably hear something soon). So, with the free time I had, I decided to rent the game for the Xbox One X, you know, to see how much of a graphical difference there really is. I wish I would not have done that...
I know there are many who will say that there isnโt that much of a difference, but I can surely tell. The X is really so much more crisp and clear. I donโt know if it is in my head, FreeSync or what, but I think it runs a bit more smoothly, too. Now, I am thinking about purchasing it for the X.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had, or is having the same thoughts.
Thanks in advance for your responses and conversation.
AFAIK, the points were written on sticky notes and recent AI milestones like chess, go, music composition, etc. were crossed out.
