A list of puns related to "Dilemma action"
This thought just suddenly came across in my smooth brain when reading the subs. Below is my attempt to consolidate what has been happening recently. Any comments is welcome.
This is what we know:
We are approaching the anniversary of the sneeze, which means Long Term capital gains for many people who bought in Jan 2021.
It is very highly possible that synthetic or phantom shares exist, especially given the volume traded during Jan 2021.
Not 100% of the float is DRSed yet. Will some investors sell at the Long Term capital gains mark? Maybe yes.. That might be one of the reason why some investors chose not to DRS. I know the mantra here is diamond hands and DRS is the way, however the entire stock market is much more than us here (institution/HF etc) and they will do what they do..
Now, if you are the MM (issuer of synthetic/phantom shares) and GME buyers from Jan 2021 sneeze started selling for profit after Long Term capital gains, the MM will need to pay out as the synthetic/phantom shares position is closed for a profit. This is where I think they asked for a cash injection: to survive the closing of these synthetic/phantom shares.
Suppressing the price of GME will help MMs and result in a lower payout when those synthetic/phantom positions are closed. The downside is this allows retails and Apes to buy more shares and DRS to lock the shares faster. This, I believe is the prisoners dilemma that the MMs are facing and why the price action is so violently downwards after trading in 150-250 range the past 11 months.
I believe this is just another attempt by those criminals to survive one more day and kick the can down the road. If you believe in the company and nothing changes, there is no reason to be afraid. Instead, letβs DRS even harder and aim for the finish line.. To infinity and beyond!! πππ
If you never heard about prisoners dilemma, you can find info about it here.
You are in Myrkgaard, solo. Around you are 20 other solo players, you all run as a pack. You soon reach a bunch of mobs. There are 4 scenarios
Without information of what the other 20 players will do, you are better off ignoring the mobs as this is not likely to lead to your death. However, since everyone thinks like this, everyone is worse off.
We recently moved into a new house and while the house is larger than our last I am left with no man-cave. Because of this I am left without a place to put my rather large collection of Spider-Man action figures, and as right now they're all just sitting in boxes in the basement. The dilemma has now become: do I continue to collect figures and store them away until I finish the basement and regain my dork-cave? Or do I simply stop collecting and sell off what I have?
Subject: Reloading IMMEDIATELY after firing should eject the spent round and allow you to load fresh ones without wasting good ammo.
Iβm very much aware of Bullet-Grubber being used to save a good round. But that is if a good round is currently loaded. My argument is when a FIRED round is still loaded.
Normally, in-game, your character automatically pulls the bolt back after firing to eject the spent round.
But if you hold the fire button, he doesnt pull the bolt back until you release it.
So what if you press Reload while holding the Fire button, then it ejects the bad round without wasting good ones for the reload?
It wouldnβt be hard to implement and it would add more depth to the gunplay that most wouldnβt notice but some would deeply appreciate!
Hello all,
Hoping you can help guide me on this - I own a 68 plate Mercedes CLA 220d night edition with 12k miles and looking to downgrade to something reliable but more economical and thinking a VW golf.
Been offered Β£10k cash for trade in and part ex for a 2015 golf GT 2 litre with 60k miles - is it worth taking the jump or would you sell private and buy private if you were in my shoes?
Really struggling on what the best thing to do is..
Stop taking βmoral dilemmasβ to be βyou can do a good or bad thing or nothing at allβ.
Thatβs not meaningful choice. A meaningful choice is in the philosophical definition of a moral dilemma: > The crucial features of a moral dilemma are these: the agent is required to do each of two (or more) actions; the agent can do each of the actions; but the agent cannot do both (or all) of the actions.
I can go on and on, but I hope this contributes to planning real choices and not βHey a sweet old grandma is dying in the middle of the road u help her or......?β

I believe the primary issue of effectively addressing homeless in the US is because it is a collective action dilemma. If a state/local government starts offering benefits to homeless to help the homeless it attracts more interested in relief. This makes the problem more expensive to for local governments address and measure the effectiveness of policies. I think it's likely that if we want to effectively address this problem it must be done through a federal level, with programs equally distributed across the states.
The problem is that the incentives are off. States with low levels of homelessness do not think homeless is an issue have no political will to pass legislation that addresses homeless on a federal level. While states with substantial homeless have the bad incentive of not wanting to pass programs as it will likely attract more homeless. Am I effectively diagnosing the problem? If so how do we address it?
TL;DR Questions:
I'm left-handed and eyed, by default it would make sense to stick with a left-hand action
However, some issues I see with that:
My goals as of right now:
Thanks
hey reddit! very glad i found this sub, so here it goes: my friends and i have been trying to find this lost relic from our childhood that our elementary school would put on for our class (it was a VHS tape, i remember). this was during the mid 2000βs probably, but im sure the series itself was probably from the late 90βs to early 2000βs. it featured a orange cat wearing sunglasses, and i think maybe a tee shirt as well, but i canβt be sure. we remember that the cat was named βcool catβ, but mind you, NOT the derek savage cool cat. this piece of media was completely different. now the show itself was based around what you as the viewer (presumably a child) should do when faced with a difficult social dilemma. should you A. get angry, B. get sad, or C. be cool. hence the name of the cat. this was put to the test by the on-screen live-action children when faced with a problem. i specifically remember one of these shorts having a boy fall of a lunch table and his peers laughing at him prompting him to act one of three different ways: βHOTβ, βCOLDβ, and βCOOLβ. first it would show him acting βHOTβ, getting angry at the other children for laughing at him. it would then explain why that wasnβt the right way to respond to the situation and then move on to if he were to act βCOLDβ. the boy would fall off his seat and when the others laughed, he would start to cry and get upset, thus the narrator would explain why crying wasnβt the right thing to do either. we then move on to what would happen if the boy were to act βCOOLβ. same thing, boy falls on the ground, peers laugh, but this time, the boy acts cool about it, rolling with it. he laughs about it and even goes as far as to pretend to fall out of his seat again. everyone laughs and everyone carries on happy. the narrator explains why acting βCOOLβ is the best alternative for a similar situation. there were several of these shorts as well. hereβs the ones i specifically remember:
β’ two children get their backpacks mixed up β’ boy gets in an argument with his mom regarding a toy truck? β’ a girl in a gymnastics class
but thatβs really all i can remember, or at least explain! my friends and i have tried our best to find it, but to no avail. i do also vaguely remember more animation with the cat at the very beginning, but my friends donβt seem to remember that part. but anyway, i hope thatβs enough to jog someone elseβs memory and maybe i can finally get some answers. i hope i explained it well enough.
So I basically have been professionally since I was 11 and I want to audition for the role of Katara. There is one slight problem though, Iβm not of Inuit decent. Both of my parents are black and Iβm light skinned and really mixed. Should I still try to audition? I donβt want to take away the chances of someone actually of that culture just because I could pass for it. Iβm so confused but I guess I have some time to think on it. Thoughts?
