Hi everyone! I don’t have the money to buy scrapbook things so I decided to do digital scrapbooking ☺️ It was very fun putting this together, I can’t wait to do more!

Digital scrapbooking?

Can't find if this is listed anywhere: is this community for digital scrapbookers, too?

Your layouts and cards are beautiful!

Tips for starting digital scrapbooking/photo books?

I’m wanting to create digital photobooks similar to what you might put together to print at Snapfish - several pics per page with pretty elements, borders etc and some words. I’ve just had a baby and I basically want to be able to create an album each month so I can share the best pics with my family all in one go in a visually cohesive way. I was thinking something like a PDF would be good (I’d rather a file I can save to my computer/phone instead of it being a website/blog type thing).

Ideally, I’d like something with templates so I don’t have to think so much. I’d like to spend hours rather than days on my albums. I really just want a digital version of photo books you create at places like Snapfish because while I’d like some as physical copies, I’d like to make many small albums too.

Is there any website or app that offers this kind of thing? Everything I google just sends me to sites to create physical photo books. Thanks for any assistance!

Digital scrapbooking for paper clutter?

I've been cleaning out a closet and have a bag full of maps, tickets, etc. from trips that I've taken with my husband. I want to toss much of it but he said that he likes to look at them occasionally to remember the trip. It's not a huge amount, so it won't cause that much of a problem to just keep it, but it occurred to me that it's the kind of thing that people often put in scrapbooks. I have never been a scrapbook person and the idea of gluing little decorations, stickers, etc. to an actual page doesn't appeal to me that much but I can imagine scanning the individual papers and then creating a kind of digital collage. Has anyone done this? What kind of software and process did they use, and what did they do with the finished images?
