A list of puns related to "Dereliction of duty"
r/PoliticalHumor has become infested with low-effort content which no reasonable person would describe as humor; a joke; a gag; or any other type of content which one would expect by reading the sidebar. This content is often in the form of screenshots of tweets. The tweets generally involve people insulting members of the Trump Administration and Republican Party. While I am not opposed to insulting these people, it is not what I or anyone else come to r/PoliticalHumor for. This directly violates rules one and two of r/PoliticalHumor, which state that posts must contain some type of humor, and that posts must not be low effort or lacking in creativity. Screenshotting another person's tweet is the definition of low effort. The mods refuse to enforce their own rules, and justify this by stating they will enforce the rules "at their sole discretion" in the sidebar, which is just kinda shitty.
CHARGE: Gross dereliction of duty.
CHARGE: Selective enforcement of rules against those they dislike.
CHARGE: Selective enforcement of rules against those they disagree with.
CHARGE: Being just kinda shitty.

If any cryptocurrency is deemed to be a "securtiy", then the fact that the SEC has waited for 10 years before starting to make a determination or offering any guidance on whether certain ones among them (Bitcoin included) are indeed "securities" would seem to be ample demonstration that the SEC is negligent in its stated duty to protect investors.
Should not this whole issue be turned inwwards towards the SEC, i.e. shouldn't there be a class-action suit against the SEC for dereliction of duty (should any investor be found to be harmed by such an investment in any ICO)?
If the SEC is supposed to be protecting investors - it only stands to reason that it knew about Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many other altcoins before the current time frame, unless it was sticking its proverbial head in the sand. Thus, if in fact there are now thousands of "securities" that have been released into the wild, the SEC has been sitting on its laurels, and not doing anything whatsoever to quell the uprising of a myriad of so-called "securities" that are supposedly under their jurisdiction.
How can the SEC defend itself against such dereliction of duty? Shouldn't the public be going after the one government agency whose job it is to protect against such unregistered sellers of securities? Instead of the SEC playing "whack-a-mole", shouldn't the Mother Mole be taken to task?
Even when being interviewed, and asked about whether such and such a ICO crypto should be classified as a security, and the Commissioner saying that, paraphrasing, he hasn't seen one that isn't, why then let the industry go on for years without any enforcement actions (except perhaps in the most egregious cases of fraud)? This non-action by the SEC is definitely a major contributor to why so many "securities" (if you believe they are that) came about.
Come on, SEC. Um... duh!
What Happened: On February 18, 2019, I submitted this meme to /r/Formula1. It features the nose of the 2019 Alfa Romeo F1 car photoshopped in place of Darth Vader's face plate.
I was unaware of the subreddit rules when posting. Memes are not permitted on r/formula1, and my post was promptly taken down. This is fine.
However, on February 20, 2019, another user submitted this post. As you can see, the concept of the post is exactly the same as mine, and I would argue that mine is objectively better executed. This post was approved by a mod, which clearly violates their own subreddit rules. The post has remained up and currently has 513 upvotes.

For decades now Captain Picard has been held aloft as a symbol of what an enlightened leader of the future should be. Not a womanizer like Kirk, yet tougher than Archer. Less morally compromised than Sisko and less emotionally vulnerable than Janeway. By what sort of leader is he really?
Consider for a moment the Ready Room. How many members of the crew could kick back in their own office while on duty? None, that’s how many! Picard spent more time in his ready room that any other Starfleet captain on record. There he sat and waited to be paged to the bridge, while his crew sat at uncomfortable work stations, forced to slouch, or often stand for hours on end. This was dreary work, with only brief, hour long moments of excitement approximately once a week. They worked like robots, but only one of the crew was an Android! James Kirk spent most of his time on the bridge, communing with his crew, signing his orders, and guiding them even when it was boring. In contrast, Picard sits in his safe space, and occupying himself with whatever fleeting interest crosses his mind. We’ve seen him: drink tea; play the flute; stare out at the stars fantasizing about rejoining the collective; play addictive video games; read random archaeology texts; have alleged meetings with Q; and worst of all: take personal calls.
It’s not just the ready room. Don’t forget the Captain’s Yacht. What does it say to the lowly midshipman that the Captain has a yacht docked below for whenever he wants to saunter off to Risa?
Then there’s the uniforms. Picard complained about an itchy jumpsuit once and suddenly he got two different uniforms, one of which was a two piece uniform with a top that looked oddly like a 24th century cardigan. Meanwhile even some male members of the crew were forced to wear miniskirts— and those were the lucky ones because they didn’t have to completely undress to hit the head.
In the aftermath of the Battle of Wolf 359, we see what Picard’s aloof and elitist leadership did for Starfleet. Hundreds of ships destroyed, thousands of lives lost. Had he spent more time planning for the Borg rather than re-arranging artifacts on his desk, maybe the result would have been different. It’s a small wonder that most of his crew were perfectly willing to let the Borg have him. It was only a few members of the officer class who pleaded for his rescue. They may have wanted to save him because he let them play poker or even just because his absenteei
