Anecdote:
Now 7 total deaths in Mum's ACF during lockdown. 10% of residents (72 capacity). One every second day.
There are usually only one or two deaths per month. This is seven in a fortnight.
Rooms are twin accommodation. They moved Mum's infected roommate out to another room so I know they don't mix them up.
Most rooms have a "Covid Infected" sign in them. Manager unofficially acknowledged most residents and staff have been infected.
So, much like other IWs fanboys i absolutely hate the decimation. Not the reasons given or the manner in which it was carried out but the way the victims were chosen. By chance. Really? Ffs this is like the most illogical way to purge a legion, totally contrary to perts character. So, here is my headcanon, which id like you, dear fellow iron aholes to vote on.
So, pert arrives and sees his legion suffered mass casualties in their last engagement. Instead of figuratively flipping his shit he meticulously evaluates every piece of data available to him, helmet feeds, orders given, everything. He then puts every single name that failed in his eyes on a list and tells his legion: "kill these or ill never acknowledge you as my sons and the other legions/emps will continue to shit on you". The IWs comply, with similiar results for the legion/pert. Boom. That easy. Not random but befitting perturabo and his motives/methods. Nothing else in the plot has to change. The other legions still condemn pertbro, the IWs are broken yadda yadda. Not even the name has to be changed, decimation is still fitting. Your opinions.
My question is not about who ordered the decimation, but rather who would make sure it was actually carried out?
I'm just curious regarding the sort of coercion necessary to have armed and armoured legionnaires beat their brothers in arms to death, rather than disobey that order or skewer whomever ordered it.

Just played my first 9e crusade game with our favorite flesh artists, against the bf's chaos knight squad (practically 1 massive knight and two small ones). I um... I kinda tabled him pretty bad. Lost zero units. I feel kinda bad because it's his birthday. I guess we handle a full knight list fairly well.
Accidently scrapped mine but don't have enough flux to make it again.
i have medium levels of anxiety, and this grind made me go insane. i could not go to sleep without thinking about how terrible it would be for my t9 to get wiped. i stayed up nearly 10 hours past when i normally sleep to finally finish the grind, because i could not stand the idea of this looming anxiety. i got pked three times and got super paranoid because of it

if you do decide to do it, some advice:
for t8-9, only do green dragons hellhounds and greater demons if you want to play it safe. this is because you can keybind a lv20 TP for these locations
have a bunch of VIP tickets ready, so when you hit t9 you can spam green dragons until completion
I've read about Decimation's AOE ability but I'm not sure if it'll save me enough time on slayer tasks to justify 90m, which is a lot of money for me (only can afford it due to Golden phat and make at most 5m a day).

House Of M was in 2005, and wasn't undone until 2012's AvX, and was supposed to wipe out all mutants in the marvel Multiverse. But the Ultimate X-Men series continued to run that entire time, and I assume, didn't just have all the main characters instantly lose their powers for reasons that happened in a book they had no involvement in.
So how did the Decinmation wipe out mutants across the multiverse, and not just the 616 universe and its alternate timelines?
