A list of puns related to "Danell Leyva"
I'm rewatching the 2013-2016 quad MAG events since I wasn't into MAG back then, and I feel like I haven't seen anyone fly as high as Danell! See his Glasgow final for reference.

Who else do you think of when you think of high fliers? Not necessarily best form or hardest difficulty, but highest fliers? It's such a rush to see them successfully hit routines.
"For a long time Iβve known that I wasnβt straight. But because of certain very personal reasons, I always rejected that side of me. Earlier this year I finally understood that Iβm bi/pan (still trying to figure that one out) but...
I also realized that, as of now at least, Iβm not attracted to cis men. (That comes with those personal reasons I just mentioned). But I felt that it was time for me to finally share this with you all.
As most of you can imagine, this is absolutely terrifying...
One of the main reasons why Iβve never come out publicly is because throughout my life, for whatever reason, other peopleβs perception of my own sexuality have always been imposed onto me and it has always made me reject it even more. It made me uncomfortable. Not because.
I was offended, because being gay is in no way offensive, but more so because it was and always has been/felt very intrusive.
So this post, apart from being my way of sharing this with you all is also a reminder.....
A reminder to check the way we say certain things to people. Because sometimes our hearts and intentions may be in the right place, but we never truly know what theyβre dealing with.
I love you all Happy #NationalComingOutDay"

I just typed out a long post only to have my computer completely lose it, so this may not be as good as the first go round (shit).
TLDR; I want to talk about scoring inaccuracies at the 2016 Olympic MAG trials, specifically concerning Chris Brooks, Sam Mikulak, Donnell Whittenburg, and Danell Leyva.
We've all heard the narrative from Athlete A about how Maggie knew she wouldn't be on the Olympic team before the competition even started. The general consensus from the gymternet was that the scores from trials proved she wouldn't be on the team, so it didn't matter. Someone brought up that the judges may have been told to be biased against her so she wouldn't score as well and end up in a place they couldn't ignore. Probably false, but it got me thinking.
That narrative, combined with John Orozco's gymcastic interview and one of Danell Leyva's podcasts, made me want to examine the team selection for 2016 MAG.
Unfortunately, there aren't individual routines to link to since the US as a whole cares less about MAG than WAG. But the full trials videos are here:

day 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3-zC2YJz4Y
I want to start with PBars because I see the most inaccuracies there.
Day 1: Whittenburg was almost perfect, just a few leg bends and one separation, gets at 8.800.
Day 1: Mikulak was pretty good but completely falls on his dismount, 8.275. He also had his usual struggle with the peach half and one handstand that looked like a tenth to me. Daggett is confused and says that the score is too high for him. For context: without the fall he would have had the highest execution on PBars in the entire competition, beating out Brooks by 0.275 hypothetically.
Day 2: Whittenburg had a few leg separations, a few hand adjustments, and a low chest on landing, but gets an 8.575. What's more important is that the selection committee isn't even watching which Tim is baffled by. From day to day, the scoring tracks for him.
Day 2: Mikulak has another one-tenth handstand, a little bit of struggle on the peach half, but he fully KICKS the ground on his bhavsar (and Daggett says that it's basically support on the ground and it will be at least five tenths in the way that he does). Beautiful stick with great chest position. 8.575. This just proves that his first day they were lenient on him.
????????? But we co
