I saw that Cuba Gooding Jr surrendered for groping a woman and it caused quite a stir. However TMZ released the supposed video of said groping and I must say I do not think Cuba did anything wrong. Now i do believe he was drunk but If I am being honest I feel like this is making a mockery out of sexual harassment just like Aziz Ansari situation did. I feel like things like this are making people turn against the me too movement as many men and women have said that it has gone to far and now it seems like some men are just avoiding woman at the workplace and just refusing to help mentor woman which is something Sheryl Sandberg said was needed for women to rise up in stem areas. There is also the controversies surrounding the Junot Diaz allegations and the now infamous photo of Keanu Reeves barely hugging his fans it seems like maybe the metoo movement has gone to far. Now before anyone accuses me of siding with rapist or child molesters i do not. I stand firm and always for truth,and if the truth says someone did it then lock him up but if it says he did not then maybe lock his accuser up. I will always stand for truth even if I dont like the outcome. I just wanted to know what are your thoughts about this situation and if the metoo movement has gone to far?
I’ve been on a Cuba watching spree lately, and I have to admit that he is one of my top favorite actors of all time. I don’t know what it is about him that makes every character he plays so believable, I just can’t get enough of this guy.
