A list of puns related to "Contrast effect"
Hi All,
Has anyone had problems with gadolinium or issues after an MRI? Iβm told ear issues can be a thing.
Edit: a monster that give destruction protection to all my monsters could work as well if there is any
Has anyone had an MRI with contrast? Wondering if there were any side effects, my health feels a lot more fragile since contracting covid and im a bit nervous about the dye since I donβt know how ill react.
I am due tomorrow afternoon GMT for a CT scan with contrast which I remember from many years ago before Rosacea you go warm.
I am terrified will have a flair.
Please if anyone knows or had this done.
Thank you
Today I had an brain MRI w/ contrast. I had a regular MRI (no contrast) about 2 years ago when this all started (that MRI came back clean), but after my palinopsia worsening this past year my neuro-ophthalmologist and I decided that perhaps its time for a new MRI (this time with contrast) for a more detailed image.
Now after having the contrast MRI, I experienced a little pit of "pins and needles" and numbness so I decided to look up the side effects. Apparently, those are common side effects and are supposedly temporary. However, I also see that the contrast (gadolinium) is a neuro-toxin that can even leave toxic metal deposits in your brain and throughout your body. On top of that, it's associated with all sorts of diseases and symptoms as well. Needless to say, I'm not exactly thrilled to find that out after already having the MRI. I just blindly assumed it was safe and risk-free.
Even being young and having perfectly healthy kidneys, apparently up to 20% of the gadolinium can remain in my body for year/decades and turn into "gadolinium deposits". Is this something I should be concerned about? I'm kinda worried that potentially having "gadolinium deposits" in my brain could negatively impact my visual snow over time, and it's making me regret not just getting a regular MRI. Right now, I'm desperately trying to flush out the contrast by drinking tons of water.
Update: MRI w/ contrast also came back completely normal. So like many others here I have a completely normal looking brain, yet have VSS.
And yet I still fear for something lol, and that being that since it is usually implied that the Moderna vax hits you hard due to all of the content on it being deposited on your body and the latter taking measures against it while it develops the antibodies, I only felt a bit sleepy after getting my first shot and a sore arm for about a day.
I am 17 if that helps, most likely lol. Pseudo hypochondriads assemble
I am often spending long time figuring out a new look for each of my loadouts to keep a variety in how my dwarfes look. But here's the thing, whenever i take a dance outside Abyss bar I look suddenly amazing compared to how I look inside the wardrobe. Something that I hope will be included into U35 is a remake of the light effects inside the wardrobe like you're character look more similar inside the wardrobe like outside of it :) Any thoughts on this?
