A list of puns related to "Conker's Bad Fur Day"
Earlier today, I was reminded of the Conker's Bad Fur Day box and how it had that huge M on the cover. Remember that? Wasn't that weird? It's part of the lore surrounding the game. Nintendo, so afraid of kids getting their hands on the game, made the M rating unusually large so that it would be impossible to miss by parents. Remembering this story, I went to find the box art to show to a friend, but for some reason, it was bizarrely hard to find. Page after page of Google Images and it was nowhere to be found. Everywhere I looked, I would just find the "regular M" version, surely a later print of the game. After coming all the way to the end of the list, I had begun to question if I had stepped into the Berenstein universe. But no, there was no way, it had to exist.
I got to talking with another friend of mine over it, who was surprised to learn there was even a "regular M" version. He was in total disbelief as he saw that the "large M" was nowhere to be found. After all, a "large M15+" wasn't too hard to find as seemingly the official PAL box art of the game, but where was the "large M"? Finally, we were able to find a good picture of the "large M", and through reverse Google image searching, it proved to be relatively common on places like ROM websites and even a prominent appearance on the TVTropes page for the game, results which didn't appear through normal image searches for whatever reason.
Yet, I was perturbed. Why couldn't I find a picture of a game box that included the "large M"? Every single listing on eBay, every image online, even every reproduction box used the "regular M". The "large M" seemed to only exist online, never on a game box. My friend pointed out to me that the game didn't sell very well and was unlikely to have had a second print run. So, was the "large M" a hoax? A Photoshop from back in the day that had become just widespread enough to cut into the lore? The existence of the "large M15+" and [this Prima strategy guide retaining the 'yellow text' of the "large" versions](https://
... keep reading on reddit β‘I know there was a bunch of talk about 007 goldeneye remastered, but man,I really would like a conkers bad fur day. Not sure if it's too politically incorrect for today's time, but I enjoyed it.
I was playing Conker's Bad Fur Day, and I got to The Great Mighty Poo, but as soon as he was done singing the first segment, he immediately constantly went "aahhhhh" (just the sound clip played, he threw his shit like normal) and when he stopped throwing his shit at me, he just stood there and I couldn't attack him, and therefore, couldn't finish the fight. What the hell is going on?!
Lemme explain; I did both Haybot and Brass Balls before The Great Mighty Poo. Was I not supposed to or something...? (I had over $1010, I forgot exactly how much)
Or Banjo-Threeie????
So in Conkerβs BFD (this is on Rare Replay BTW) during the countdown youβre going back through the beach to try to get the boat to activate the cutscene and escape. But when doing so, I was doing the helicotery tail thingy over the boundary where the cutscene would activate and a Tediz shot and killed me.
When I respawned I was back in the harbor where you would normally end up after the cutscene, but there was no cutscene. Then when exiting the Harbor, the doors, instead of closing like normal, just started moving up and to the left. Then you see that the windmill was already destroyed, but no cutscene with rodent. Once you go through the windmill you end up at the feral bank like usual, and again, no cutscene.
From what it looks like, the cutscenes wonβt activate because the previous cutscene wasnβt loaded in and the game refuses to load anymore cutscenes. But thatβs just my personal theory.
Does anyone know any more about the Glitch? Itβs intrigued me for a long time and doesnβt seem to be widely known (I found a small streamer who encountered it, but thatβs it). any more information about it would be appreciated.
I know I would!
