A list of puns related to "Common Building Block"
Just got terraria after not playing it since the xbox 360 and want to get into building. However there are SO MANY blocks I have no idea what to use when building. Hoping u guys could help suggest the most common blocks used and building tips in general.
In a block of flats the other owners have instructed a common buildings insurance policy through the factors can i opt out. there is no mention of a common policy in the deeds. if the majority approve a repair this would be binding but is it the same for insurance.
thanks in advance for any assistance
What I base this on is several instances where I said something that seemed totally comprehensible to me, but had to repeat myself once or twice to be understood.
When I pointed this out, the explanation I was given is that "nobody else says it that way". This has never prevented me from understanding spoken sentences, and I hypothesize it's because aspies parse sentences in a more granular, word-by-word way.
It may just be me, I don't know. These are probably not good examples as I struggle to think of some off the top of my head, but it's the difference between "Go to" and "traverse the distance between". The difference between "Fuck him up" and "engage in combat with".
Speech is a very lossy mode of information exchange. It seems to me as if having a shared lexicon of commonly used phrases allows one to extrapolate the rest of a phrase even if they hear only part of it.
Not using these phrases, instead building sentences differently each time in whatever way you feel will most accurately express what you want to, seems to disrupt that mechanism.
I suspect it takes less calories to parse sentences the way NTs do. They can do it almost on autopilot, while only half-listening. Communicating in a way which requires them to be more attentive also demands more effort/energy from them, which I think explains their irritation.
Anyway, I would like to hear your thoughts about this matter if you feel like sharing them.
I find myself trying to make a structure in survival mode, and I'd ideally like to make things less gray but not flammable because fireplaces are great. That rules out stone, wood, and wool. Can anyone think of a common, stone-ish material that meets these qualifications?
I've tried bricks, but they often look ugly out of moderation.
Thanks.
Realistically speaking, who do you guys think are the guys to build around?
β’ Fields: this one is obvious
β’ Herbert/Monty: both guys are very good tailbacks on rookie contracts. Do the Bears try to possibly offload Monty for a pick?
β’ Mooney: likely a low end WR2 but ascending
β’ Kmet: starting to really come into his own as a blocker and (to a lesser extent) a pass catcher, especially since TEs are known to take some time
β’ Borom/Jenkins: likely the starting tackles moving forward
β’ Jaylon Johnson: the guy has all the tools to be a CB1
β’ Roquan: not much needs to be said besides his contract issue
β’ Tonga: very solid NT depth piece
Honorable mention: Dazz Newsome. I think you have to see what you have here after a year of S/C.
In terms of how easy the blocks are to get. I began with gathering clay and have around 1000 clay blocks but once I realized just how much I need I'm considering switching over to terracotta since sand and gravel might be easier to get (I think). Thoughts? I live next to a riverbed/lake area if that helps
I have just graduated in engineering, but after a short self-analysis I came to realise that my math knowledge is a bit scattered, developed only enough to pass my exams.
I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for me on books that can help me tidy up and organise my maths knowledge, allowing me to revise from the basic foundations such as long additions/divisions, moving on to percentages/fractions/ratios and finally going to th more advanced concepts like algebra and trigs. I realise I can find all this stuff online but I would like a structured syllabus to help me find my way around.
Any suggestions are greatly welcome, thank youπ.
I try to build in the designer the block that I build next to the source block show up as pink. I cannot figure out why. Anyone got an idea of why this is?
I have a common area of roughly 15 lightbulb. I noticed that tenants frequently forget to turn off the light. I get roughly $20 of electric bill every month from the common area. Wondering if it is worth it to add motion sensor to save on electricity.
