Dear r/cc family,
For my master thesis in behavioural finance, I am conducting a study on cognitive biases in cryptocurrency investors, with the moderating role of Reddit in mind.
In order to test my hypothesis and research questions, I need data, and I have designed this short survey for that purpose. It will take you approximately 10 minutes to fill in.
NO personal identity data will be asked for, nor collected (no names, email address etc).
The topic of cognitive biases in retail cryptocurrency investors and the moderating role of social media in driving these biases remains a vastly under-researched topic (unfortunately). I believe this topic to be extremely relevant today, especially in such a high frequency market as cryptocurrencies. This is your chance to help participate in filling this crucial research gap.
Please feel free to share it in your circles: the more respondents, the more data, and the more accurate the statistical results will be.
I will of course be posting my concluded thesis once it is completed, so that anyone interested in the results can read it.
If you do decide to participate in the survey, please carefully read the indications, questions, and please answer as accurately as possible.
Thank you all very much in advance for helping advance scientific research in cryptocurrencies and investor behaviour!!!
Let me know in the comments if you have participated in the survey to enter the raffle for 100 moon reward (and please be honest)

My lab is doing a study where participants monitor the performance of an autonomous driving system. There are two 1-hour sessions where you will be paid $15/session. During the study, you will decide whether you want to take control of the vehicle from the autonomous system, and your eye movements, skin conductivity, and emotional responses will be tracked. If you are interested in participating, please send an email to simstudy.pu@gmail.com The only requirements are you need to be 18, allowed to drive in the US, have normal vision (glasses and contacts are fine), not have any form of colorblindness, and not be known to experience motion sickness.

I'm a teacher. I'd really like to be able to teach about stopping distances to my pupils by using a driving simulator. I've got a USB steering wheel, and I've had some success with the Scania Truck Driving Simulator on the PC, but my work laptop is not really capable and I don't want to use my own gaming laptop in schools.
I've managed to get the Dreamcast emulator working well on Retropie for the RPi4 (and PS1 emulator etc). Is there a driving simulator for those cores (or any other Retropie cores that work on a RPi4)?
I know there are lots of driving racing games, but what I'm really after is an open-world sort of thing. Ideally with weather effects, different terrains, and some sort of reaction timer (like the Scania Truck sim has).
I know it's a big ask, but does anyone know of anything that would fit the bill, so I could just use a RPi rather than taking my nice gaming laptop in to school?
Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone!
I'm seeking volunteers aged 18+ to take part in my research survey exploring the links between personality traits, cognitive traits and hoarding. This will support the development of treatment for autistic people who seek support for hoarding. You do not need to hoard to take part as we are interested in the experiences of everyone!
I'd be grateful if you could take part if you have time. The survey takes around 15-20 minutes to complete.

Thanks!
You're at the self checkout lane, and a pop up shows on your screen to round up to a dollar to help this or that. Do not donate this way, this is a manipulation tactic to make you feel bad and make a quick, seamlessly harmless decision to donate through a corporation. This corporation is wanting to look like it cares for sick children, while lobbying against better healthcare, and not giving the low wage employees reasonable plans. This corporation has plenty of its own money already, while paying minimum wage, or slightly more, still poor wages, you do not need to give the corporation any more money. With this information in hand, you do not have to feel bad saying or clicking no. Consider making donations to charities directly after research. Make sure you are making informed decisions, and look out for devious manipulation tactics.
Sleeping Longer Than 6.5 Hours a Night Associated With Cognitive Decline - Neuroscience News
So according to a new research, optimal sleep time is between 4.5 - 6.5h. Anything outside that is associated with an increased risk of dementia.
As someone who's been sleeping 6h average when everyone kept insisting on those 7-9h beauty sleeps, I can only say I feel relieved.
How does r/insomnia feel about this?
Call to action for all my monkeys out there!
For my master thesis in behavioural finance, I am conducting a study on cognitive biases in cryptocurrency investors, with the moderating role of Reddit in mind.
Although I am not testing any hypothesis on Banano itself (although it would have been a fun idea), I am researching cognitive biases that typically affect investors overall - and I want to specifically investigate their consequence and presence in cryptocurrency retail investors.
However, in order to test my hypothesis and research questions, I need data, and I have designed this short survey for that purpose. It will take approximately 10 minutes to fill in.
The fine folk over at r / cryptocurrency allowed me to sample on their sub yesterday, with overwhelming success! Having experienced first hand how great the Banano community is too, I was hoping to sample on this sub too!
