A list of puns related to "Clouding agent"
I'm curious if anyone has been able to successfully install the Qualys Cloud Agent on a Pi. I've setup a community version of Qualys on my home network to learn the vulnerability management/asset management product, but I can't seem to get my Pi to report back to Qualys.
It has full egress to 443/HTTPS, so it should be able to reach Qualys cloud. No logs are generated in /var/log/qualys so I'm pretty sure the install must have blown up somewhere.
Now that I uninstalled the old stackdriver agent and upgraded Debian to Bullseye, I wanted to try out the new ops-agent. So, I clicked the Install button on my monitoring dashboard and it opened Cloud Shell and generated some commands. I then pushed Enter and it seemed to start installing. However, it's been stuck at "0.0% Complete" for about 20 minutes now. What should I do?
Here are the commands that it generated (I replaced my instance name with [instance]):
> echo '"projects/[instance]","[{""type"":""ops-agent""}]"' >> agents_to_install.csv && \
> curl -sSO https://dl.google.com/cloudagents/mass-provision-google-cloud-ops-agents.py && \
> python3 mass-provision-google-cloud-ops-agents.py --file agents_to_install.csv
It also says "AGENT INSTALL PENDING" and "Agent installation pending. It may take 1-2 minutes for agent data to reach Cloud Monitoring." on the monitoring dashboard.
I never use Cloud Shell but I figured this method of installing it would be easiest. Now, I don't know how to quit out of it or what I should do next.
Edit: my connection became lost for Cloud Shell. Is it okay to assume that this whole process did absolutely nothing?

Where is the community installing the Azure AD connect cloud sync agent?
Directly on DCs or dedicated servers?
Any drawbacks on direct DC installations?

Hello guys,
I'm working with qualys, we have cloud agent deployed on our debian servers, and we also use qualys as a scanner (IP scan).
Qualys detect a low vulnerability I would like to fix. name is Hidden RPC Services (qid11).
I disabled the service, which lead to fixed the IP scan vulnerability. But qualys still complain about this vulnerability, hence I think this is related to qualys cloud agent identifying something on the server itself.
Does anyone already worked on this ?
For those using bamboo as CICD, how do you make the remote agent licenses portable across instances. We've to mandatory change instances due to AMI upgrades.
We've multiple agents installed & activated on a single machine & have to work with another central team to activate them using unique agent ids.
I was thinking of just assigning a static ip to the instance & making sure hostname remains same across instance refreshes & copying the entire agent home directories. Not sure if anyone else has dwelled into this/similar tool license setup..
I have a "Always Free" instance with 4 cores and 24GB of RAM, but one of the cores is pinned at 100% by the cloud agent, and a lot of swap is being used by it.
Does anyone have any solutions to this, apart from killing it completely?
Sensei engine 1.9.3 on OPNsense 21.7.1.
I registered my account under Sensei > Configuration > Cloud. But when I browse https://sunnyvalley.cloud/firewalls/ it just says Pending and "Normally this action will automaticly done. Be sure your firewall is be reachable." (btw, type-o in automatically on your side).
I checked System > Logs > General but didn't see anything about this. Not sure where to check next as to why it's not starting.
I am in routed native mode, if that matters.
Speaking to customers and partners, we received amazing feedback about vRealize Automation SaltStack however, when discussing the default SaltStack Agent default initialization some indicated that it could be a challenge in their environments and they would like to try an alternative approach, luckily when it comes to flexibility, vRealize Automation is really exceptional, so our team put together a second option via ABX and PowerShell.
I have a set of workstations backing up using a "Windows Agent Policy." I would like to get them backed up to our cloud connect provider. It looks like they are not capable of being put in a backup copy job unless I switch to "Windows Agent Backup" but I don't have enough agent licenses for that. When I try to back up directly to cloud connect, my repository doesn't appear as an option.
Am I missing something here? Is this something I should be able to do?
I've been contemplating spinning up k3s in ha split between cloud and on prem. The reason is my agents will require high cpu and ram requirements and for the k3s server nodes it's easier for ha using cloud environments. I am reaching out looking for anyone that may have also spun up k8s or k3s like this and if there were any gotchas. For the agent can I simply just spin up agents anywhere as long as they can reach the LB ip/domain.com in the cloud? Is a vpn required for the agents to they end up on a single network or can the agents live with only a single public ip for access down from the server to the multiple agents? From everything I read I believe this should be pretty straight forward and for the on prem agents for HA the requirements would be ensuring there is isp failover and internal network hardware fail over. Am I missing anything?
Some additional clarification with the services I run. The service on the agents would be connecting to other api's, taking data in processing it then sending it out to another api. So I'm not hosting anything. The need for the k3s servers is really to orchestrate and ensure the agents have the services running.

> Critics consensus: If it lacks the original's bracingly original craft, The Matrix Resurrections revisits the world of the franchise with wit, a timely perspective, and heart.
Metacritic: 64/100 (50 critics)
As with other movies, the scores are set to change as time passes. Meanwhile, I'll post some short reviews on the movie.
> Resurrections leaves plenty of things unexplored. For a movie that so loudly makes reference to the real world, its failure to address the place βred pillβ symbolism has found in right-wing propaganda comes as a mild surprise. (The dialogue even contains the word βsheeple,β a favorite of those selling conspiracies online.) And thereβs nothing here to inspire hope that, should Warners or whomever insist on more sequels, theyβd be worth seeing. But as someone who watched Reloaded and Revolutions more than once, trying unsuccessfully to believe they were good (and whoβd happily take a blue pill that erased them from my memory), I actually look forward to seeing this one a second time.

> Wachowskiβs gamble is that viewers will enjoy a film thatβs heavy on philosophizing and introspection as long as it retains the emotional, romantic hook that powered the first movie. Reeves and Moss sell their reunion as Neo and Trinity persuasively, glowing with the overwhelming chemistry and affection that Wachowski needed to push the film beyond cynicism.
> All of us are stuck in our reboots. But at a time when mega-budget franchise movies can only be about themselves, Lana Wachowski has made one that pushes beyond the dopamine hit of cheap nostalgia and dares to dream up a future where mainstream films might inspire us to re-imagine whatβs possible instead of just asking us to clap at the sight of history repeating itself.

I am a month in and am going to be ceasing minoxidil use. I have made decent gains but the longer I use the stuff the more I learn about it. The more I learn about it the more I realize that I don't have any clue what is actually going on. With that, I am starting to realize that nobody really has any clue whats going on with this stuff.
Growing a beard is a really personal issue to pretty much anyone subbed here and I fear that the hope of attaining one is clouding people's judgement whenever the topic of long-term side effects come up. There is a concerning attitude in this community of "Trust the gains, bro!!!", "You just gotta get past the side effects, bro!!!" completely ignoring the fact that there is barely any research out there on the long-term side effects of minoxidil use in young, healthy men for beard growth. Will it speed up your (scalp) hair loss? Nobody knows. Will it damage your skin in the long term? Nobody knows. Is compounding it with tretinoin safe? Nobody knows. Everything I have seen on this subreddit is a bunch of speculation with with a near religious-level of faith attached to it. You have guys microneedling and applying this stuff directly after, guys compounding it with other topicals, guys using it for years on end, and even guys swallowing the stuff for prolonged periods of time.
I am old enough to have seen quite a few "miracle cure" fads going around that have turned out to be junk or even incredibly dangerous. Remember when SARMs where being considered "side effect free" anabolic agents? How about when Kratom was considered to just be a mild pain relief with no potential for addiction? What about synthetic weed going around a decade ago?
Finally, before using ANY compound, its a good idea to see how far you can get without it first. Its just like with building muscle, why expose your body to roids before you have even tried consistently working out and dieting for a few years? A lot of guys on this stuff haven't tried micro-needling, which is way easier and may even be enough to get results on its own. Hell, Derek from MPMD reversed his hair loss with micro-needling alone. I personally am going to continue micro-needling after I finish weening off of minox and see where it takes me.
I am not trying to scare anyone out of using minox if they really want a beard, it will probably work. Please, just know that this whole thing
