I'm feeling very depressed about the future of all life on earth. I can't see climate change being 'solved'. How do I make peace with the fact that every day each of us push the planet slightly closer to environmental collapss
My son was born two weeks ago and I can’t help but think about how totally f*cked this planet is going to be by the time he’s 25. Does anyone else lose sleep over this?
Not trying to be hyperbolic here, but every scientific authority has rung every alarm bell in their arsenal, and we’re still on a global collision course for a major climate crisis. To me, the pandemic has been an unfortunate indicator of how the US and governments in general struggle to manage widespread disaster, so I’ve genuinely pondered what things I should get to protect myself and my loved ones if things take a major downward turn.
I’m not saying this is doomsday prepping, it’s just “very foreseeable and scientifically confirmed” hardship prepping.
