A list of puns related to "Chugach National Forest"
I was recently referred on USAJobs for a couple of positions in the Chugach and Tongass National Forests for next summer.
The first referral is for a Forestry Aid position in the Tongass and the second one is for a Forestry Aid (Recreation) position in the Chugach.
I've been trying to call the specific ranger districts where these positions are located, but I've run into the issue of not knowing who specifically to contact.
Any advice on who specifically I should contact to get hired and hiring in general would be much appreciated, thanks.
I'm looking through the U.S. Forest Service site for the Chugach area and I see several pages for trails that say "Off trail hiking opportunities in _______", but I don't quite understand how you know where its okay and where it's not okay to hike and camp off trail.
Can anyone help me determine where you can just trek out into the back country without breaking any rules?
