A list of puns related to "Chris Watts"
As of April 2021, CW has a new cellmate, Marcus A. Johnson, of Clarksville, TN. Marcus was convicted in 2013 of murdering his girlfriend's three yr old little boy, Hunter J Wise. The manner in which he killed him is so grievous and horrific, I don't want to describe it here, but its easy to look up. According to a former inmate, who was in the cell across the hall, the two child killers get along great, talk about forgiveness, read the Bible together and share the same prison job, as butchers in the kitchen! The former inmate also said that CW sleeps in the bottom bunk and Marcus the top. No surprise that CW is on the bottom.....
Ok, holy God, I have been OBSESSED with this whole insane story and have been watching content related to it. I'm totally aware that there are people in the community interested in this story that are...uh....interesting themselves, let's say.
Anyway, I started watching this documentary about the case. The creator has the comments turned off and I need to discuss this because I am DYING at some of the choices this person made.
So, firstly, this person is using text to speech for narration which is a whole moment for me because it kind of makes the content totally disconnected from the subject matter. It's eerie and fucking hilarious.
Then, out of nowhere, this creator goes on like a 3 minute exposition about.....crystals. CRYSTALS YOU GUYS. I literally thought I had stumbled onto someone who was doing a meta-performance of multi-level marketing while discussing this case.
I am so fucking in. This is unreality. So good.
I've been craving so much on this case over the last year, perhaps because of the pandemic. I mean, I lost my dream job and I've been stuck on a shitty work-from-home job, with tons of restrictions, but then I remember that everything is going to be OK, this is not perpetual, and that Chris Watts is in a much worse position than everyone.
At least I got to order some Bojangles' from Uber Eats tonight, a delicacy Chris will never get to eat ever again. Only gruel and that horrible loaf for that rat.
Also, there is a possibility that this pandemic will eventually end, unlike Chris' prison torment, as he has zero chances of getting out of prison and he's gradually coming to terms that's his life from now on.
Stay safe, stay strong, and Chris can go rot in hell. Happy holidays people!
My question is about the CW before having the girls, before the bankruptcies, before the affair. Was he destined to eventually go off the deep end, or could he have turned it around?
Iβm tempted to believe that his upbringing combined with his suppressed emotions and the trajectory that he was on with his mother, he didnβt stand a chance and would (eventually) cause a lot of damage.
Like yeah sure, Shannan probably had a bossy streak, she probably had caused a few problems in the marriage just like Chris did because NO MARRIAGE IS PERFECT. But Chris is a monster. A total moron. A murderer. He killed his wife and children. Iβm so sick of people being victim blamey towards Shanann. Nothing she did means deserving to be murdered and those kids were totally innocent. And the people who simp over Chris Watts are disgusting. Heβs ugly and heβs a murderer. Vanilla looking at best. AND HE KILLED HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN. He is an absolute imbecile and heβs a spineless POS. Shanann lost her life and her babies lost their lives all because Chris had no balls and couldnβt just divorce her. For the people who do this, stop picking at Shanann and looking for faults in her. She didnβt kill anyone or hurt anyone.
For everyone asking where this is happening, check the Watts Off Topic subreddit. Itβs disgusting. They bash Shannan and insult her while they paint Chris as a decent man.
gonna go out on a limb and say, not a good guy.
I relistened to the John List eps and they bring up the Watts' murders so that led me to the doc on Netflix. So I'm rewatching that, the guy is a dickhead from the the get go. He's obviously just an obvious family annihilator.
I can't fathom the mindset of him. I like delving into people's minds and trying to at least understand their perspective of things. He legit has a beautiful family, sure they were in debt by a lot but, dude, why? Fuckin why? Oh. Your wife is the alpha in your marriage? So what? My God. This is a true psychopath/sociopath.
I don't know. Sorry to rant. It's just heartbreaking. How do you kill your two kids? I have a son, he's 12 now and probably could kick my ass, but I can't imagine doing that to him. Kinda got me in tears.
I am posting this message to make sure everyone gets over the absurd fantasy that Chris Watts had an IQ of 130 or something like that. Nonsense. Everyone saw how guileless and verbally inept Watts was as he tried to con the police who were hanging out at his house. Everything Watts said were transparent lies, and surprisingly simple minded lies at that. The way Watts handled himself during the police interrogation is further evidence of his low intelligence. He came across as being almost childlike. Most conspicuously, Watts agreed to take a lie detector test, which only an idiot criminal would do. When the results came back, he had no remaining mental defenses except to break down crying. Clearly, from start to finish, he showed evidence of having a low IQ. My guess is that Watts's IQ is somewhere in the 80 to 90 range, at best.
Let's face it: Chris Watts is no Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy when it comes to criminal intelligence. Big, big, big difference in mental ability between those two evil serial killers and a semi-embecile like Watts.
I just watched the JCS documentary and was curious. Polygraphs are inadmissible in court. JCS mentioned that Chris could have walked out at anytime, and at most it would have put suspicion on him for failing the test. The investigation was shut after Chris confessed.
If Chris had maintained his innocence and walked out, would the police have found any evidence that linked him to his family disappearance? I know they found the bodies, but thats because Chris had told them where they were.
I've seen multiple people call BL "the next/new Christopher Watts," both on this subreddit and in Facebook groups. I find very little similarities between them, but I do find BL and this situation in general to be very similar to Paul Flores, who - despite being the (very) obvious suspect in Kristin Smart's disappearance/murder back in 1996, lived his life as a free man until this year when he was finally arrested. Flores also had his parents help him, quite literally, cover up a murder and try to get away with it. There was no hard evidence that could convict him, and it was a combination of physical evidence in recent years and statements from "previously uninterviewed witnesses" that finally got him arrested, per The Los Angeles Times. (I am Tl;DR'ing this, so I apologize if I'm missing details.)
Which brings me to BL. There is nothing tying him to the disappearance of Gabby Petito. If there was anything in the van, we would have heard about it in one of these press conferences. No physical evidence or trace of Gabby outside of the body cam footage prior to her disappearance. We only know that he likely confided in his parents who shut the doors and hired an attorney, and now all refuse to speak. The thought of BL, like Flores, living the next 20+ years as a free man and Gabby's family having no closure sickens me, but it's one of my biggest worries reading all the "updates" (or lack there of) in this case. BL either needs to slip up and say something to someone who passes the info along to police or Gabby, her body, or belongings need to be found - which is a race against time for a body with no idea where to look because BL will not budge, or a matter of finding a needle in a haystack for belongings.
Instead of Chris Watts, I fear that otherwise BL will be the "new" Paul Flores. Fingers crossed that doesn't turn out to be the case.
Almost nobody has really committed a crime similar enough for there to be any notable comparison, imo. And definitely not in the last 3 years. Just because the guy has weird parents and heβs a dumbass doesnβt mean thereβs any connection to the Watts case.
Chris Watts' sister is 10 years older than Chris. Brian's sister is 12 or more years older than Brian. Parents of Brian have lawyered up and are silent. Would Chris' parents have done the same thing if they had the opportunity?
