A list of puns related to "Chris Lindstrom"
That's why he was absent from practice yesterday for a personal matter

The Atlantafalcons.com also did a piece last year on his mother battle with cancer that's worth a read.

I remember reading he was set to potentially return after our bye week. With a fair amount of time passed since then, I have not seen any articles or stories that shed any light on the matter.
First, sorry for the length of this post.
Yesterday, Ben Allbright said on Twitter that he's hearing the Colts are interested in drafting Chris Lindstrom: https://twitter.com/AllbrightNFL/status/1118220631500296192
This comes a few days after Tyler Brooke said the same thing: https://twitter.com/TylerDBrooke/status/1116716282647392257
This immediately raises the question, why would the Colts spend a first (or high second) rounder on a guard, after drafting Nelson and re-signing Glowinski? In reading the scouting reports on Lindstrom, I've noticed something interesting, that he could be center.
From his NFL.com profile:
>His final destination could be as a guard/center in a zone scheme where he can become a long-time starter.
>
>Starting experience at tackle and guard with athleticism and mental makeup for center
There is this tidbit from the combine:
>Lindstrom told reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine back in February that heβs also learning how to snap at center in his pre-draft preparations.
>
>βI played three years at right guard and then my junior season at right tackle. I am learning how to snap now ... I am just trying to be as versatile as I can be to help a team. Trying to play guard, center and tackle, and I just happen to have the most reps at guard.β
And at his Pro Day, Patriots O-line coach Dante Scarnecchia put him through positional drills and had him take snaps at center: https://www.telegram.com/news/20190320/dudleys-chris-lindstrom-stands-out-at-boston-college-pro-day
Ryan Kelly is entering the final year of his contract. The Colts have until May 3 to decide whether to pick up his fifth-year option, which would be around $10 million and guaranteed against injury. Kelly has been great when healthy, but he's also missed 13 games in the last two seasons.
So my question is, could Ballard be considering Lindstrom as a future replacement for Kelly?
Didnt know where to post this but I was friends with Chris all throughout high school, it's been so amazing to see him get to where he is through BC and now playing for the Falcons... His father played for the Cardinals for about 3 seasons and it's so amazing to see Chris in the NFL now too. I'm so excited to see him play for the Falcons and I hope you guys are too! Lifelong Pat's fan and new Falcons fan!
He got put on IR after the week 1 game against the Vikings, so is his return imminent or is he done for the season?
I rely heavily on the run game, and I love using pulling guards. However, they miss blocks so often, and even the good ones tend to be a little slow to get where they need to go. I decided to go ahead and try building Rookie Premiere Chris Lindstrom just to try him out; with his speed I figured he might be useful for the kind of offense I like to run. He has been a revelation. He actually makes it to the block in time, he engages the defender, he doesn't run past the defender or just let go right away. He is very good when not pulling too, consistently pushing players backwards. He is rather ordinary in pass protection, but so is every other guard I've tried. But I have been pleasantly surprised by his play, so while everyone else is pushing the sexier Rookie Premiere picks, I strongly recommend Lindstrom. Speed at guard can be a very useful thing.
Seems like a Ragnow pick to me.
When I watched the stream and saw the Rookie Premier reveal, I noticed something immediately, I had no idea who he was, but the card art for Rookie Premier Chris Lindstrom was definately not Chris Lindstrom. So I did some research
Link to his MutHead for reference: https://www.muthead.com/20/players/95/
I had no idea who this bearded player was so checked him on a facial recognition software. Unfortunately you couldnβt click the links on the website unless you paid, but I could see similar images. This player was from the Bengals and came out of Alabama, and only 2 players in the league match this description.
Looking back at the RP art you could also see he was an Offensive Lineman, narrowing it down to one player. Jonah Williams. Checking his combine images: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcTAuk7TgyPsvZR8dPP4WxGcmNl2qofRHHX-oFA4sefsrnF-v4CC an exact match.
At least he was born in Atlanta and is a rookie offensive lineman though EA
Anyone have any thoughts about Chris Lindstrom (OG, Boston College)? Idk too much about him, but I know heβs the best IOL prospect in this yearβs draft.
I would love it if we could get him in Round 2; I think he could slide in perfectly as our new starting RG. But from what little I know about him, he seems to be moving up draft boards and might be taken before Round 1 ends.
Appreciate any insight anyone has on him! As always, FTP!
Edit: there seems to be consensus that Lindstrom is the best IOL prospect in this year's draft & that he'll most likely go somewhere in the latter half of Round 1. If that's the case, what's everyone's thoughts on the Lions potentially moving back in Round 1 taking Lindstrom (and picking up an extra Day 2 pick)?
I only need 2 more RPs and Iβm between Chris and josh. I can only get 1 so advice would be appreciated.
