A list of puns related to "Ceramic heater"
Looking for 12V DC ceramic heater.
Couldn't find it at regal chawk / cooperative market Sadar.
Maybe i just haven't figured it out yet because the only time I try to figure it out is right after a session and I'm very high. I know with the quartz there's a little clip thing that holds it together, but I can't figure out the way to do it with the titanium.
EDIT: answer is Neo from Prrl Labs. Thank you. And you flip it upside down and put it over your bowl of herb and use it like that. I searched online and can't find the name of it. It came out I think within a year or 2 ago. Sorry I don't have more details. Thank you
before I start keep in mind that this is my opinion and that a lot of this is based on speculation. unfortunately, there are no conclusive studies on if leopard geckos see infrared and what wavelengths they see. in this post I'm assuming they do see infrared light but it's for night vision purposes. not to find heat signatures of insects.
I'm going to going over ceramic heater emitters here because they seem to be the most common. in my opinion, it's fine to use ceramic heaters for your gecko. even at night because ceramic heaters emit 80% of their energy around the 3000nm wavelength. 3000nm is very far away from the visible spectrum and enters the range of thermal IR (that's why it's used for heating) and since it's most likely leopard geckos will be using their infrared vision for night vision. it's very unlikely for them to be able to see these wavelengths. typically there is infrared light after the sun goes down. most of this light is very close to the visible spectrum. think of the wavelengths your tv remote produces just a lot less. these are around the 850nm to 940nm range. so it's very unlikely they will be able to see wavelengths of up to 3000nm. there are animals that can see these wavelengths mainly snakes like boas and pythons because they have something called a pit organ. however, leopard geckos lack this organ so unless they have a special organ no one knows about it's very unlikely they can see at these high of wavelengths. so regarding the issue of infrared heating like ceramic light bulbs. I can pretty safely say that the ir they produce won't mess with the leopard gecko's circadian rhythm. **IF YOUR HEATING IS SETUP THE RIGHT WAY.**however without further research we can never be 100% sure
source for ceramic heaters source for the pit organ link for what wavelengths would be used for nightvision
