A list of puns related to "Center console (boat)"
My buddy and I are thinking about buying a blind for our boat. It is a G3 1860 CCJ and I want to make sure it is tall enough to go over the center console that has the grab tail on it. Along with the height I am concerned about the difficulty of getting the dog in and out of the boat.
Any suggestions? Also any pros and cons would be helpful too
I love the 42 Huntress by the Cigarette racing boat company, but I donβt see myself being able to spend over a million dollars on a purchase price of a boat anytime soon.
I donβt care so much about the power and speed it has as much as I do the luxury & utility of the boat. The lounge chair seats in the front, with more in the back. Built in coolers in both ends, a nice cabin for storage & bathroom & rest underneath, all in a beautiful style as a center console boat.
They look like amazing day cruisers for family and friends & I am curious if anyone has thought to make this style in a more affordable brand.
If anyone here has any ideas or knows of anything, please let me know so I can look into a least a version of my ideal boat. Thanks!
Family of 5 with 3 kids under 6. Also like to go out with other family in similar age range. Just sold our 20' Bayliner cuddy cabin as it was getting quite cramped for 9-10 people. Didn't end up using the cuddy as much as we thought - we want more sun/deck space. We regularly go boating with 6-10 people, and would like to maybe even go with 12-14 on occasion (half of the 14 people would be kids).
We use the boat 90% on inland lakes, but once or twice a year venture into Puget sound for an island visit - so pontoon is out of the question.
I 100% want an outboard. Seems like lower maintenance, easier winterization, easier to deal with salt moorage (we will may have to moor in salt for a few years while on the list for freshwater).
Also non-negotiable is a portable potty. Restrooms (or rather the docking required) are often tough to come by on the lakes we use and some of the guests are older/not swimming during the day.
I love the idea of a tupperware type boat. Low maintenance on the interior, plastic everywhere powerwash it down kinda deal. One of my biggest frustrations was trying to keep the plywood floor dry, the mold away, and the ?stringers? not rotting in the few years we owned the 1994.
Swimming off the back, eating lunch and dinner (table(s) are nice), tubing, maybe some water ski in a few years - not serious into wakeboarding.
Bayliner VR6, the DX2200, the Trophy 22 all seem to fit - what would be some good comparables from other brands? We had a great experience with our 90's Bayliner and aren't premium brand type people. We plan to buy and use for ~15-20 years.
I'm planning to buy this winter (or at least get on the list). What should we look for? Any other brands?
I'm thinking 40-50k with trailer - but could go a little higher if necessary to check all the boxes. Not really interested in 100k+ type higher however.
Thanks!
Hey, so my friends birthday is coming up and I'm planning to get her a model of the boat from the tv show "Dexter" but I can't seem to find one anywhere, so I thought I'll just get the same boat or one similar to the one used in the tv show. I don't know much about boats, but this seemed like the right place to post this. I searched online and found out the the boat is a "Century 2901" so if anyone knows where I can get a scale model of that boat or any center console boat either online or near the Austin, TX area, or if someone would be able to make it themselves and would be able to give me a quote I'd really appreciate it. I only found it online from one seller but they do custom professional work and they told me it would cost at least $1700 depending on the size, but I can't really spend that much on a gift. I would really appreciate any help guys thank you.
Iβve been trying to find an SUV To tow a 19β center console boat, but it isnβt a necessity so I didnβt plan buying new or spending a lot of money on it. I was really just looking for the best bang for your buck sort of deal. I have been looking at some in a range between 7k to 15k with a max mileage of about 100k-110k mileage on it. Iβve already been looking at Jeep Grand Cherokeeβs and Toyota 4Runners, though I cant find any 4runnerβs at that price with a decent mileage and they are all older models too, (which I was kind of hoping for something at around a 2010 maybe)
Let me know your guysβ suggestions, because itβs hard to narrow down the different types of SUVβs that can handle towing and fit this description
Basicly title, recently got a 20 ft proline center console and I am wanting to install speakers and a stereo into it, I was wondering what you guys would think would work best for this boat.
Any questions just ask. All of your help is appreciated.
20β boat
My friends all have 1-4 year old, we have a 7 month old, and of course I want a center console 19 foot for fishing, but I would like to be able to take out a lot of people. I have never had the party boat, so I dont know how often that would actually happen, or if there would just be me and a few other people on this huge pontoon boat.
My other thought was to just buy the center console now, and then get a bigger boat in a few years when the kids are older.
Thoughts/experiences?
I have NEVER been deep sea fishing before. I plan to get on a charter before I finalize the boat plan.
Finding a reef and staying near it seems like it would have a pretty steep learning curve compared to "Go to the dock and cast".
Anything else I should be thinking about before I buy a boat?
