What if the Pope allowed Henry VIII to divorce Catherine of Aragon?

Does this mean the Anglican Church would never arise? How would Thomas More influence Henry’s decision as he still lives? How would Charles V react about his cousin getting bastardized and his Aunt becoming a divorcee? Would there be an Anti-Protestant sentiment still in England? How would they clash with Presbyterian Scots? How Catholic would England be?

What if Mary, the Bloody Mary, daughter of Catherine of Aragon and Henry VIII was a BOY, named Henry (after his father) and was physically healthy, as she was, and survived, as she did, to become King of England?

I would call him John (instead of Mary), but John is a cursed name and cannot be used for English Kings.

Besides England, Henry IX would have direct claims to the thrones of Castilla and Aragon, and by extension, to the Spanish Colonial Empire.

Henry VIII wouldn't need to divorce Catherine so we, probably, wouldn't having him being excommunicated by the pope or creating the Church of England.

How that would change the history of Europe and the world?

Why didn't Catherine of Aragon go back to Spain after the annulment?

I am curious to why Catherine stayed in England despite the fact that she and Henry's marriage had been annulled. I would guess that if she went back to Spain she would have gone back to her family and had better support over there. I understand that she was still respected and regarded still as the queen and Mary was still in England. But why exactly did she choose to stay in England?
