A list of puns related to "Call My Agent!"
I've decided that part three of my "War on Terror" US Military based campaign is going to be the Operation Viscid. On the last two Operations the players have been in, I've upped the scale of the conflict somewhat based on the planning, resources, and capability of the Agents. In anticipation of this, and to keep things tense and exciting I'm planning on increasing the Unnatural threat of >!the biomass consuming Ulee things!<, and maybe having there be >!a 4th or 5th vector point and a resulting Ulee creature to contain!<, and also increasing the scale of the mundane but still threatening >!mercenary cover-up!<.
Considering the scale of the Unnatural threat, and it popping up in multiple locations, and the 660miles of carnage between >!the Ulee things!< and their intended destination>! three states away!<, I think it's inevitable that the Agents will need assistance. Considering their Persuade and Bureaucracy skills I think they'll be able to convince their in game Handler it's necessary too.
The team is currently 4 Special Operators. Two Green Berets, one Army Ranger, and one DEA FAST Operator. They're very capable when it comes to addressing problems with force as one would expect, but besides that their skills are pretty well rounded out. My concerns are...
Since I need to build a team of fleshed out Agents to assist my Squad, instead of just randomly generating them I thought it'd be fun to reach out to the community and see if you all had any interesting ideas for professions/personalities of the Agents the team will work with. If things get particularly bad on the mission a Cell of Outlaws may catch wind of the news and join in as well, so all ideas are appreciated.
I have been watching Call My Agent on Netflix as one tool in my learning French. I know enough to get the gist of every scene and follow most of the more subtle plot developments, but I have the french subtitles on and I'm pretty dependent on them for comprehension. Is this kind of "deep-end" dive useful for my learning, or should I come back when I understand more and my hearing comprehension is better? Does it matter?
So I have a friend whose parents are thinking of taking a "vacation" to their home country, a country with absolutely no respect for human rights or women's rights. She is a citizen of both US and this home country. Currently there is no physical abuse, but there have been suspicious actions by her parents that indicate this isn't really a vacation but a way to lure her into a forced marriage. They have been extra nice to her, which is a bit weird and unsettling. Should she contact CPS first or tell the TSA during the security check? Edit: Friend is 16. She is a Saudi citizen so once she is over there it is practically impossible for her to come back
I booked a room in a London Travelodge through Snaptravel, the transaction was successful and I received a booking ref - no reason to suspect anything. Fast forward 10 days, I show up to the Travelodge but they can't find my booking. Upon further investigation, the Travelodge system showed my booking as having been placed (my name wasn't even entered correctly) but subsequently cancelled by the third party.
Essentially, what happened was the Travelodge ended up being overbooked when Snaptravel sent in my booking and they had to relocate me to a nearby hotel. The problem with this is that the rebooking/relocation was not communicated to me and it took them 2 hours from me arriving at the Travelodge to finally cough up this explanation for the situation.
To try and get to the bottom of this I called Snaptravel's helpline which is a USA number. As a result, I ended up racking up Β£49.24 in international call charges as they told me to stay on the line and kept me on hold for most of the ~30 minute call was automatically cut off due to reaching my phone contract limit.
To reiterate, I didn't receive any communication of this booking change whatsoever, and this entire situation could've been avoided if I was simply notified of this. Snaptravel offered 20% of my booking cost as compensation (this amounts to just under Β£12), which I accepted at the time because "at least it was something", but I want to know if I have any recourse to recover the full Β£49.24 that's going to end up in next month's phone bill because of this?
This is straight off the Pardon My Take podcast, Iβll link it here. I thought this part was interesting but the entire interview is amazing and I suggest everyone listens. It starts at the 28 minute mark.

I'm so excited about this. It's a French comedy that's also very poignant. It takes place in a fictional Paris talent agency and all the celebrity clients are actual French celebrities.
I'm French myself but I've lived here for 30 years and rarely go back, so at first I was worried that I wouldn't be able to relate to the show as I didn't know most of the celebrities portrayed (they play themselves but very playfully and comically), but it is SO funny that it really didn't matter. I did look them up to see what made them famous (actor, comedians, singers, etc.) and I'm sure I missed a few inside jokes, but it didn't matter.
It's one of the best French series that I've ever seen (and I'm usually quite critical of French series) and I hope some of you will be intrigued and check it out because it deserves a large audience!

Truth is
PA Realtor here. Yesterday, I did a walkthrough on a property under contract to get an idea of what type of homes are in that area. I used ShowingTime to schedule it as it was listed as a Go&Show.
I just got a call from a Listing agent demanding to know why I went inside his listing. I explained that I was in the neighborhood and I wanted to see whatβs available. Iβm new to the area and Iβm trying to get an idea of the different features of houses in the vicinity.
He was not at all happy about that... he accused me of trying to βfuck up his dealβ and said what I did is illegal... even though I received notification that my walk through had Been confirmed.
Iβm new to being a realtor and still working towards my first sale. Iβm waiting to hear back from my broker.
Do I have anything to be worried about? I canβt find any rules that Iβve broken.
Yesterday my sister (27) took a flight to visit her partner (she is in a long distance relationship), a trip that she has already done in the past. We are from Colombia so we are somewhat used to the stigma everytime we travel and because of this we are extra careful with our visas.
Once she got to the McCarran airport and went through immigration apparently she was put aside by a female TSA CBP agent because she was chewing gum and it was an offense (I'm not sure on that,it may be true) once she was in something like an interrogation room she was verbally abused by the agent, that called her a whore and made her unlock her phone to examine it. Going through her photos and chats and once she found my sister partner number called him and told him that my sister was married and had children (obviously false) and did the same to my sister, telling her that her partner had a wife and childrens.
Finally after that and some other things she was let go but apparently the TSA CBP agent did something to her record. My sister was left with heavy emotional distress but at least her partner is being very helpful and compressive.
My questions are: Is all of this legal? Is there a way we can know if my sister got "flagged" or something like that?
EDIT: sorry for the confusion, I was informed that it was most likely a CBP agent and not a TSA one.
EDIT2: Thanks everyone for their answers and clearing some of my own ignorance. It seems that what happened is well within the CBP officer capacities, and it's more of a system issue than an individual one.
