A list of puns related to "Caesars Entertainment (2020)"
> Former Portland Trail Blazers president Chris McGowan is named CEO of Ilitch Sports and Entertainment, which owns the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and Little Caesars pizza chains.
McGowan resigned from his position with the Trailblazers last month (Nov 1) which reportedly had nothing to do with the ex-GM Neil Olshey investigation. McGowan was promised by former owner Paul Allen to have more power/voice within the organization which his sister/current owner Jody Allen failed to follow through with evidently leading to his departure from the franchise.

> The top executive on the business side, Chris McGowan, revealed on Friday that he resigned on Nov. 1, telling The Athletic later in the day that โthereโs a lot of things that led to thisโ and โI know zero about the investigation.โ
> Paul Allen didnโt just love the Trail Blazers, he breathed them. He wanted to know the thought process behind every decision. And he had thoughts, ideas and visions of where the franchise could go.
> Itโs why Olshey would get 25 texts in a day during the NBA Draft process. And itโs why McGowan was given the promise of more power to expand the brand of both the Blazers and NFLโs Seattle Seahawks (which Allen also owned.)
> In June, shortly after Olshey told reporters the teamโs failings were not a result of the roster he constructed, sources say McGowan asked [Jody] Allen to let him become the voice of the franchise. McGowan didnโt want to run the basketball operations, he wanted to control the messaging. He was rebuffed.
> In July, McGowan asked Allen again to become the voice of the franchise after a disastrous introductory news conference for Billups in which the organization was less than transparent. He was again rebuffed.
> โMy role has changed significantly over the last three or four years,โ McGowan said. โIt has kind of built toward this moment. I appreciated that Paul gave me a chance to work on things he was passionate about, but the nature of the job changed when Paul passed. And I just wasnโt super satisfied with that. But it was totally understandable, I donโt think it was anything against me. This was just the time to do it. Iโm looking forward to pursuing

I remember reading the release and coming across Caesar's Entertainment in the press release.
Brief overview of Caesars:
>Caesars Entertainment joins two successful gaming leaders, Caesars Entertainment and Eldorado Resorts, who have come together to create the largest and most diversified collection of destinations across the U.S. Boasting many of the worldโs most prestigious gaming brands, including Caesars Palaceยฎ, Harrahโsยฎ, Horseshoeยฎ, Eldoradoยฎ, Silver Legacyยฎ, Circus Circusยฎ Reno and Tropicanaยฎ, among many others...
I also just noticed that Caesars put out 2nd Quarter earnings yesterday (Interestingly Look's like their revenue is back on track and growing as compared to Q3 2019, a time well before COVID-19 affected everything) : https://investor.caesars.com/news-releases/news-release-details/caesars-entertainment-inc-reports-second-quarter-2021-results
In this release they state this regarding their recent William Hill acquisition:
>"With the William Hill acquisition now closed, we have officially rebranded our sports betting operations to Caesars and we launched our new comprehensive marketing campaign on August 2, 2021."
This was the same William Hill PLC (one of the largest gambling operators in the UK) that Mark Brooker was recently a Non-Executive Director of.
(now this is me just speculating....) Given Bill Foley's relationships and ties to Las Vegas, I wonder if Mark's addition to the board was strategic due to his background/ties from William Hill PLC which is now a part of Caesars. Caesars just rebranded their Sports Betting Operation (Caesars Sportsbook) after the William Hill acquisition and started a marketing campaign in the United States on Aug 2, 2021. Is Paysafe potentially going to be involved in any way in the future? (who knows)
It seems that there is already some form of existing relationship between Paysafe and Caesar's Entertainment as detailed here in this press release going back to 2012 : [https://www.paysafe.com/us-en/paysafegroup/news/detail/optimal-and-caesars-

CZR is Caesar Entertainment, but commonly goes by Eldorado Resorts
Ohh would you look at that.. $94 million in shares from Citadel alone.
The place that \"ApeFest\" (CitadelFest) is being run at
MGM also has large stakes and connections with CZR but it doesn't matter as the hotel is literally owned by CZR and we can see the connection to Citadel instantly.
Okay that's all I wanted to share! Good thing Google was built for smooth brains like me!
