Favorite Cactus Jack Records artist (not including Travis Scott).
I was just thinking ab how cool it must be to be signed for that record label. Cuz the artist actually promotes his artists music unlike a certain someone. Travis also does collab tapes with them which is super cool. Carti gotta start promoting his artists more cuz if I was ken or someone in the label I’d be mad as hell.

Sources tell me that it's an ongoing rumor about brage starting a new album, it says that he had to sign with the company cactus jack to collab with travis scott (the guy from Fortnite)

I'm Hamid, a 20 year old from Amsterdam. I'm a bad luck kid, and that goes deep. I'm talking consistantly losing at life. Plus beeing pretty broke in a rich man's country doesn't make things easier.
For the last two years my hopes for being free and happy in this world went down alot.. Winter last year, i was dealing with serious depression and at the same time my best friend got diagnosed with tuberculoses in his lungs. This is where my entry into music begins.
I visited my friend in the hospital as much as i could, he used to be a bit fat and he turn into a skeleton when he was laying there. I felt empty for those months in the hospital. Fast forward; One day i visit him, he's feeling better for the first time and his mom brought him his KRK speakers (he produced on the regular before he got sick).
We sat down, i always try to get him in his element to get his spirit going. It was needed because we both knew he was lowkey dying and hope is slipping trough us. So i asked him to show me how he produced. He picked up the midi and started jamming chords while the metronome was ticking at 130 BPM, i believe it was a Rhodes keyboard VST.
I don't know what it was, but it felt like our spirits grew out of our body in just a few minutes.. the emotion, the hidden words in the notes. It was heavy. I left earlier than usual that day, because that really hit my chest and all.. while i was sitting in the bus i came across: Travis Scott - Astrothunder
I felt everything that flows trough my body stop and flow in reverse. I replayed it for hours. I started listening to almost everything this man has made, studying the sound, emotions and stories. It made me attached to the Travis Scott art.
If there's anything i'm good at, it's letting out creativity. In any way or form i can think of. So i started to learn how to make beats, my friend taught me lots in the hospital and i would try to figure sounds out from Travis's work, normally i tend to find ''new'' hobbies but after a few months my motivation dips low and i consider quitting. But in these past months my whole life feels dedicated to creating sound, and to make my notes speak words.

I was watching the Travis documentary earlier and when they showed off the signees to his label I thought there were more. I know Sheck Wes and Don Toliver are apart of it but aren’t there more? Like, wasn’t Smokepurpp signed back in 2017?

I've been seeing a lot of comment saying why smokepurpp isnt with cactus jack, assuming he left, got kicked out, forgotten, etc.
Basically, Travis Scott and purpp linked up years ago and they made some songs; Fingers blue is one of em. Travis liked purpp so he gave him a chain and cosigned him (which is just a "sponsorship" not an actual signing).
Smokepurpp couldn't sign because he was already in a deal with interscope/ alamo records.
Sadly, I dont think he will be on Jack boys because he commented this http://imgur.com/gallery/BBHgs6z . Hes been busy with his own music, promo, artist, etc. HOPEFULLY, travis hit him up for a verse, he has been working with mike dean after all.

i know the rumours that he would be on jackboys but is he signed to CJR tho?
Now i know that getting signed to any record label takes a lot of grinding, building your fanbase on soundcoud, getting clout on IG, music blogs and all that.
However if you feel your sound/style/image fits best with a label like cactus jack records, then you should be able to email your music to a close contact/ lable heads/ marketing assistants/ website or something.
I know Travis story to finally breakthrough was to find Anthony Killoffer ( one of Ye's engineers) email address/phone number on his twitter and thats how he hit em up.
Chase B prolly the closest to Travis to be running new music with him ETC. Any ideas who else is close to Travis like that?
