A list of puns related to "CJ van der Linde"
I see a lot of people say they want to play as young dutch or as a young arthur. I think thats stupid. A lot of people seem to forget the best thing about the rdr games the REDEMPTION. I mean playing as a younger guy who is a villain in rdr1 and 2 wouldnt have any REDEMPTION. RDR3 should be an alone standing game.
Iβm looking to get a tattoo of a quote from Dutch, he says many great things so Iβm trying to find one that sticks with me.
How would you rank the top 10 best gunslingers in the gang? My list would be
1-Arthur 2-John 3-Dutch 4-Sadie 5-Charles 6-Micah 7-Javier 8-Bill 9-Lenny 10-Sean
For example, if a western film or television series is being made and wants to reference real life gangs and such, would the Van Der Linde or the Odriscoll gang be mentioned for βhistorical accuracyβ purposes?
What if someone is taking a college course about the Wild West? When theyβre learning about all the outlaws of that time, are the Van Der Linde and Odriscoll gang going to be mentioned by the professor alongside all the real outlaws of that time?
I've been thinking about this for a while, could a healthy Arthur Morgan potentially 1 vs All the entire gang? Its such an unlikely outcome out of any situation, but I wanna hear your thoughts.
There's a 38 minute video on Youtube called "Analyzing Evil: Dutch Van Der Linde From Red Dead Redemption" by "The Vile Eye". If you have time to kill, it's a decent watch that touches on who Dutch was. I have my own personal feelings on Dutch. A more positive than negative outlook based on understanding. But as I watched this video & it got to the last 10 mins, what came to mind was "In for a penny. In for a pound".
I believe that after Arthur & after the years of solitude, that Dutch realized the error of his ways. But I also think, he knew he was doomed. I commend John, who genuinely tried to change & escape the life he once lived for the sake of his family. But in the end, he ended up in the same place as Dutch. Dutch in his own way did a respectable thing & stayed true to who he was & what he's conditioned to do his whole life & that's fight to the bitter end (Much like a low honor Arthur).
Now, you can argue that if he was gonna keep fighing/ doing crime that he could at the very least go back to his roots. Be somewhat of a pacifist & give what he gains through crime to the less fortunate until his day of reckoning (Much like a high honor Arthur). Maybe something they would've done if Rdr2 would've came out first. But I don't necessarily blame him for the way he went out. It's not my way, but I can only imagine that in his head he would've found the idea of surrender & living a normal life to be nauseating. What the hell else am I gonna do with my life now? Be a farmer!? A shoe shiner? My past is gonna catch up to me anyway. Well.....in for a penny π€·ββοΈ
Mine is kinda unpopular but sean is my favourite
