A list of puns related to "CD3 (immunology)"
I've done 3 cycles of Letrozole with a previous doctor. I've always had cysts on my CD3 ultrasounds, and it wasn't an issue at that fertility clinic. They just took measurements of them, and the doc continued with giving me Letrozole and monitoring on future ultrasounds.
I recently moved, and I'm now seeing a new doctor. I had my CD3 ultrasound today which showed 2 small cysts. He won't continue with prescribing Letrozole. Instead, he wants me to take birth control for 3 weeks, have another bleed, and return on my next CD3 for another ultrasound to see if the cysts went down. If they've vanished, then it's safe to continue with fertility meds. If they haven't gone down by then, then he said I'd need to take another round of birth control and they'd reassess again.
Is this typical? It's never been an issue before, and this caught me off guard. I've had much bigger cysts in the past than I do now. Honestly, I'm crushed as I went in there today hopeful to start another medicated cycle. Realistically, I know it's just another month of waiting (or two) in the grand scheme, but I'm already emotionally fragile, turning another year older next month, and this is not the delay I expected to hear as I close out this shitty year. Meanwhile, there are also rumors of another lockdown coming in the country I'm in.
TL;DR: Is it typical for doctors to postpone fertility meds if you have ovarian cysts and to prescribe birth control pills instead?
Went for my monthly haircut last Sunday at supercuts (PhD stipend...). Only one hairdresser was available at the time, the same one that had cut my hair the last two times. We had a bit of small talk but it was a very quiet and fast haircut, no hot towel or mirror to check the back of my head at the end. I tipped my usual 25% and went to lab. I get home at night and look myself in the mirror and there are noticeable length differences just above the ears, next day I finally figure out how to look at the back of my head and notice the whole back looks awful and I have a rogue patch of hair hanging from my neck. I think to myself it was just a one time thing, but then I started to remember that the same hairdresser was very cold/rushed with me the previous 2 times (also no hot towel or mirror), and also remembered that the first time I saw her she was the only hairdresser not wearing a mask and also she seemed taken aback with my "I work in immunology research" answer after she asked what I do for a living. She also complained about "hispanics and their new year's firecrackers" (I'm from southamerica) to me, so I start to make a few assumptions about this person...
TL;DR: Don't tell your masks-less hairdresser in Texas that you work in immunology
Please let me buy your CD3
I don't care the color or condition
Please give me the chance to give it a loving home
Thank you
TL:DR: CD1 is today and all lab corps with in 40 miles of me are closed for my CD3 due to Christmas. For anyone who has a little more experience with this, can you help tell me if Monday (CD4) is okay for testing if you have a short period?
Iβm getting some fertility testing after 15 cycles of no luck. I went in last cycle on CD5 to see about what next steps are, which is blood testing for me /semen testing for my husband. I missed the normal CD3 for testing last cycle, so they wanted me to wait to this one. BUT my hormones or body must hate me, because CD1 started today, meaning Iβd need to test Sunday and I cant find a lab corp open cause of Christmas, which is where the doctorβs paper say I have to go.
My doctors office is closed for Christmas and now worried that Iβm just out for another cycle (which for me can be over 50 days long π). Itβs obviously not the end of the world, but Iβm utterly heart broken. We had to push the appointment out already once which put me ANOTHER cycle behind, and Iβm loosing hope.
Does anyone know if you have a short period (3 days usually, max 4) if testing on CD4 would interfere with accuracy?
Tests:
Prolactin zone | FSH+LH | Complete testosterone evaluation | CBC with Dif. | CMP14+4AC | AMH | Estradiol | TSH + free T4
I know a number of these are for thyroid (which Iβve had tested four times for other things so Iβm not worried about timing those) but included it just in case.
EDIT: formatting cause mobile π«
ISO Nate Perkins Koi Fish stamped CD3. Stamp and color do not matter. Interested in thrown or new while preferably being in a lighter weight if possible. Have $ or trades- let me see what you got. Thanks!
I recently got my CD 3 results ordered by my GP and found that my Prolactin is elevated and Estradiol lowered. My OBGYN is not available to see me for over a month, so I am trying to learn as much as I can about what this might mean and what I should do in the mean time. I did have my thyroid tested also and the tests came back normal. I also was not stressed on the day of the lab test, did not have my nipples stimulated the night before, was fasting, did not have sex for more than 24h before, or do any of the other things they say might affect prolactin levels. For those who have had similar numbers, what did you wind up doing? I think these prolactin levels are too low for it to be a tumor. I am thinking of retesting again, but not sure if I should do the whole fertility panel again or just prolactin and estradiol since they were the only abnormal values. If I retest, should I wait until CD 3 again next month or is it also okay to retest on a random day? Any advice is much appreciated!
Prolactin 48.5 ng/mL
Estradiol <5 pg/mL
AMH 1.39 ng/mL
LH 6.8 mlU/mL
Progesterone (day ~21) 6.0 ng/mL
Isn't the statement "CD3+ t cell" a little redundant? Don't all T cells have CD3 as part of their TCR complex?
"We expect our vaccine candidate for prevention of genital herpes to proceed to human trials by summer 2022. We are now working on a vaccine as treatment for genital herpes that will reduce the frequency of outbreaks for people already infected. We are also evaluating whether we can develop a vaccine to prevent and treat oral herpes."

Does anyone know if DM will make these again? I canβt find any for a reasonable price :( and what discs fly similar as a replacement?
Hey! What are your thoughts on UC Berkeley extension immunology course? Tell me your experience( hw,quizzes, tests, papers..etc) and who did you have?
Hi,
I graduated in 2021 with a B.Sc. in Applied Math, and I was wondering if anyone has had experience/success in applying for a second degree in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill. I have a CGPA in the 3.75 - 3.8 range.
Basically, I hate what I studied and was too hardheaded to quit. Now I feel stuck on one career path that I find difficult to motivate myself for. Does anyone have advice or insights? Apologies if this is not the right place to ask.
Just trying to cast a line and see if anyone has some specific discs Iβve been looking for, Iβm willing to pay or trade. Weight is hopefully around 172 for distance drivers and max for everything else. I am especially fond of thoughtspace, infinite, discraft, and discmania. Let me see what you got!
Hi , please you advice about best source for immunology other than bnb TIA
