Does Jesus' temporary burial in Joseph of Arimathea's family tomb explain why it was empty on early Sunday morning?

In The Archaeology of the Holy Land, Magness writes,

> The Gospel accounts of Jesus' burial appear to be largely consistent with the archaeological evidence. In other words, although archaeology does not prove there was a follower of Jesus named Joseph of Arimathea or that Pontius Pilate granted his request for Jesus' body, the Gospel accounts describing Jesus' removal from the cross and burial accord well with archaeological evidence and with Jewish law. The source(s) of these accounts were familiar with the manner in which wealthy Jews living in Jerusalem during the time of Jesus disposed of their dead. The circumstances surrounding Jesus' death and burial can be reconstructed as follows.

> Jesus expired on the cross shortly before sundown on Friday. Because Jesus came from a lower-class family that did not own a rock-cut tomb, under ordinary circumstances he would have been buried in a pit grave or trench grave. However, there was no time to prepare (dig) a grave before the beginning of the Sabbath. Joseph of Arimathea, a wealthy follower of Jesus, was concerned to ensure that Jesus was buried before sundown, in accordance with biblical law. Therefore, Joseph hastened to Pilate and requested permission to take Jesus' body. Joseph laid Jesus' body in a loculus in his own rock-cut tomb--an exceptional measure due to the circumstances, as rock-cut tombs were family tombs. When the women entered the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea on Sunday morning, the loculus where Jesus' body had been laid was empty. The theological explanation for this phenomenon is that Jesus was resurrected from the dead. However, once Jesus had been buried in accordance with Jewish law, there was no prohibition against removing the body from the tomb after the end of the Sabbath and ruburying it elsewhere. It is therefore possible that followers or family members removed Jesus' body from Joseph's tomb after the Sabbath ended and buried it in a pit grave or trench grave, as it would have been unusual to leave a non-relative in a family tomb. No matter which explanation one prefers, the fact that Jesus' body did not remain in Joseph's tomb means that his bones could not have been collected in an ossuary, at least not if we follow the Gospel accounts.^1

Personally, I find this line of argumentation quite compelling. How mainstream is this view? What are some of the criticisms against it?

96 Burial-Chambers - Experiment of a new player

So, i started playing PoE like one week after Delirium-League has started, and understood the mechanics of the game quite fast, since i was always an ARPG-Kinda guy. My goal for this Season is to farm a Headhunter. so I gathered some information about farming - mostly Burial-Chambers. I had enough currency to prepare my first "Juiced" farming session.

I prepared a nearly full Quad-Tab of 96 BC - every Map has a minimum of 90 IIQ (3/4 of them are above 100 with 30% Pack size, but after 1h of rolling maps my hand was getting sore, so i decided to speed it up a bit.

Juiced with Scarabs: R. Ambush, R. Breach, Pol. Divination, Pol. Reliquary.

Sextant Rolls: 8 More Packs for density/Corrupted Items for 6-Links.

6 Booming Population Unique Watchstones. Beyond-Mod for Map-Device Mod. Master Missions: Mostly Einhar or Alva for more Mobs. Im using 2 Ventors-Gamble for a bit of IIQ and Rarity to up the chance to drop 6-Links for Divines.

Investment-Sheet

My Lootfilter hides all Bubblegum Currency, except Vaals, Sextants and so on. Im hoping to drop at least 3 Doctors out of all Maps and double the amount I invested (40ish Exalts).

So yeah, im trying to farm the Maps in the next 2 days and update anyone who's interested with the Loot afterwards.

For anyone else, hope you have a nice week tho! Stay safe!

[UPDATE] FINISHED ALL BURIALS - RESULT IN THE LINK.
