We ate at the Hollywood Brown Derby and really enjoyed the rolls. We asked if there was a recipe available and were told the rolls were frozen! Does anyone know what company delivers them? There is just something about those crispy on the outside soft on the inside rolls!

So this place is definitely a ghost kitchen, but beyond that it is incredibly misleading about its product. The other night I tried to order from 'Mothership Pizza" on postmates; high rating, good reviews, pictures and description of food sounded great, etc. When the delivery was postponed over an hour beyond the expected time, I googled the restaurant to call them. Instead of Mothership, Brown Derby Pizza showed up. Thought that was odd, because i pass this place all the time and it's def a gas station. Called the number and got a dial tone.
When the food finally arrived, it was about 2 hours after the listed closing hours for Mothership (conveniently, the time Brown Derby actually closes...), cold, and nothing like the pictures or description. Turns out the same address and phone number are listed for several other restaurants on postmates, grubhub, and door dash. It seems like they are using multiple postings with deceptive photos to trick people into ordering and unintentionally re-ordering from them. I got in touch with postmates to complain and got diddly; all the 'restaurants' are still listed.
So don't be like me. If you order online from a pizza place in midcity, double check the address and phone number to make sure it isn't actually Brown Derby. Unless you want Brown Derby, but feel like you were paying too little! Then treat yourself to a variety of their ordering opportunities listed below.

Growing up in NZ I remember a real treat being a Brown Derby ice-cream - i.e.: Ice Cream in a cone dipped in chocolate - especially with Hokey Pokey ice cream.
Are they still a thing in NZ?
