A list of puns related to "Botch (engineering)"
Just watched Dynamite and saw Pillmanβs botch off the ropes.
It looked to me unintentional especially with the way Malakai Black approached him (with a sense of frustration) to deliver the Black Mass
Could clearly see black walking away when the lights came on lol
So... another resident in our building called out a "locksmith" because their key was starting to stick in building's front door lock. They charged $1,200 to rip out a Marks lock and install a Maxtech. Ouch.
Needless to say, now the MaxTech lock is having problems. I'm determined to fix this myself to avoid another reaming.
The problem is that the latchbolt is binding as the door closer attempts to pull the door closed. When I first noticed this, I increased the closer tension ... that worked for a while, but now the problem is back.
I think the root cause problem is that there's no strike plate installed on the opposite (inactive) door, and so there's no lip to assist the latchbolt, causing it to bind (... crappy lock manufacturing is probably another factor, as the mechanism previously installed worked just fine even without a strike plate.)
Installing a strike plate is difficult as the location where it should be placed has been pretty butchered up over the years, and is hard to clean up given the door is metal construction.
If I installed a better quality lock mechanism that has an anti-friction latchbolt, is that likely to work reliably? Or do I need to figure out how to mount a strikeplate onto the right hand side door?
I've attached photos showing the issues described above, and the kind of anti-friction latch bolt design I think might work. Thanks for any and all guidance!!

PVP nerf, not Killed in PVE. Donβt kill this weapon.
i made a post on this clinic on the hair transplants subreddit you can probs find it on my profile, im making this post in case anyone searches this name for reviews, i had a horrible experience with them and i really hope no one else goes through the same turmoil, avoid them at all costs, they ruined my year and had me feeling the most suicidal i have in my entire life. i needed anti-depressants to get over it
I can never find a solid answer to this.
Rainy Day Woman is my fav, and the crowd loves the chorus.
HBOβs Watchmen is a pretty solid series that follows up the original comic 30ish years later. One of the major themes is racism in America and the real dangers of white supremacy. Spoilers: >!One of the major antagonistic forces is a century old group of white supremacists trying to steal Dr Manhattanβs power to create a world more in line with their racist ideology, similar to how they use the power of βgodβ to do that in real life!<
The show goes into how deeply rooted white supremacy is in the country from neighbors all the way to the federal government. However the ending botches this messaging by >!having the white supremacists be too incompetent to ever succeed in their goals with the leader accidentally killing himself almost immediately when trying to enact his plan, weakening the threat they pose to society within the story.!<
What makes it worse is when >!the true villain is revealed to be a woman of color with idealistic goals of fixing the world. She dismisses the group and kills all of them so she can do exactly what they were trying to do.!< Instead of ending with something truly profound and committing to the themes from the rest of the show, it undoes a lot of those themes so it can do some eye rolling comic book bullshit that contradicts the messaging of the rest of the show.
Guess which one is too old and needs to retire while the other one "reinvents" himself
Right after they were comfortably seated, they were informed the plane was built by their students.
All but one got off their seats and headed frantically to the exits in maniacal panic.
The one lone professor that stayed put, calmly in his seat, was asked: "Why did you stay put?"
"I have plenty of confidence in my students. Knowing them, I for a fact can assure you this piece of shit plane will never even start"
I also like the rest of the classics - Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Cave In, Narrows, Number Twelve Looks Like You, etc - but nothing hits me quite as good as Gaza and Botch which have the heavier edge to them, some sludge influence.
I also like heavy/doomy tech death like Gorguts so that's fair game.
Thanks!
Whether its during your initial conversation, while communicating over text or on a first date, you want to avoid coming on initially too strong and showing a high level of emotional investment.
Girls want to sense that you view a date as being a fun chance to explore the possibility of a potential relationship. They donβt want to sense that you are already overly invested in the dateβs outcome prior to even meeting.
You come off looking desperate and needy if you act overly concerned about a first date's outcome. Like it is your one and only chance to find someone and you lack any other options. No one wants to date someone who has zero other options.
Most girls would prefer to avoid meeting all together, rather than chance having a date go poorly and the other party becoming emotionally distraught over it. Why should they put themselves into a potentially uncomfortable and stressful situation with no guarantee to having an upside?
However, if you give off a chill non-needy vibe from the start, then the other person will be much more comfortable taking the chance of going on a date with you and being open to seeing where it leads.

I've seen a tip during loading that said something about 'even when crimes are unseen...'
I can't remember the rest. I think it said merchants will be angry and raise prices...like I said, I can't remember exactly what it said.
I managed to do the Money for Old Rope quest without being detected or knocking anyone out. After the failed execution the Rattay bailiff spoke to me and even wished me a 'good day.'
Then I went to the inn outside of town...the bread was 50% higher and the waitress said 'stay out of sight we don't want vagabonds around here.' Later she called me a 'beggar.'
Like I said, I'm assuming all of this is related to me doing a 'crime' in the Rattay Countryside. It's the only crime I've committed.
My reputation isn't below 50 for the innkeeper/waitresses but the prices have gone up.
Is that permanent?
Will they calm down and lower prices back to normal or is that the cost of disrupting public order...even when you're not detected?
