A list of puns related to "Booz Allen Hamilton"
I have been offered several positions at BAH in regards to several types of Project Manager positions. However, I was never truly given a job description nor my daily tasks and duties. One deals with the VA, while the other deals with various other smaller projects that I wonβt disclose due to how specific they are.
I have heard horror stories about working for them, however, most of these horror stories are with the consulting side of things.
So what about being a project manager for them? Any insight here on these positions?
Is Booz Allen Hamilton a good place to work for a student about to graduate with a Masters degree? Iβve heard mixed things.
So I have been interviewing for a Consultant role with BAH. I had my initial recruiter interview, then a few days later I was contacted to move on to a hiring team interview. I did my interview and I thought it went especially well. My interviewers even made comments like, "your skills will fit nicely with our team." After the interview, I sent a thank you letter to my recruitment coordinator to pass on and she said she would send it. After that interview process though, I seriously thought I had it in the bag, but it's been almost two weeks and I have heard nothing back from my recruiter or recruitment coordinator. I have even sent both a follow-up email to which I heard no response. Should I just give up and accept that I didn't get the position?
Also for more information about me. I just graduated with my master's degree and I have about 3 years of working experience.
The place has bollards, walls around the driveway, and a guard booth. I got warned to stay on the sidewalk by some guard while cutting through the parking lot walking back to my own office from lunch.
What the hell is in there? The Israeli Embassy?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone here familiar with this firm can give me some advice. I have submitted quite a few applications to this firm whose requirements fit my resume pretty well. I am scheduled to graduate with a masters degree in Economics this December, have someone referring me, and even have military experience. Why do I keep getting rejected and so quickly? Am I applying too far out from my graduation date? Thanks in advance!
I had to chuckle at the irony.

Hi everyone,
I recently recieved an offer to work for BAH and I am most likely going to take it, doing a lot of IA/RMF for DoD work and a chance to get technical using ACAS/SCAP tools for the first time.
Does anybody have experience working with BAH and how is/was your time there? Do they have a good workplace culture? Are the benefits good? What did you wish someone told you before you started working for them?
Thank you all for any insight or advice in advance!
P.s. the position is outside an Air Force base in Massachusetts
Currently working in aerospace defense. Had a few co-workers jump over to BAH and were given titles of "consultant". None of them are doing actual consulting work, none of them have any deep understanding of industry practices or processes. They're immediately thrown into work sites and are expected to work as if they were regular employees of those sites.
Has BAH completely lost its credibility as a consulting firm? Is this region-dependent? Please advise
Ask us anything about the use of machine learning in radiology β how itβs in use today, what is coming in the future for how these algorithms could impact research and clinical care!
We are Dr. Eric Stern, professor of radiology at University of Washington, Dr. Mark Michalski, radiologist and Director of the Center for Clinical Data Science (CCDS) at Mass General and Brigham and Women's Hospitals, and Dr. Anna Fernandez, biomedical engineer with focus on medical imaging and precision-medicine related informatics and part of the Data Science Bowl team at Booz Allen Hamilton. Several data scientists from the CCDS are also joining: Brendan Huang, Stefano Pedemonte, Bernardo Bizzo and Sean Doyle.
Dr. Stern specializes in thoracic imaging including lung cancer screening and Dr. Michalski specializes in data science for medical imaging. On behalf of our organizations and as members of the American College of Radiology, we support the effort to drive data scientists to develop new and advanced machine learning algorithms for lung cancer via the Data Science Bowl presented by Booz Allen Hamilton and Kaggle. We are part of a broader team that have collaborated together for this yearβs Data Science Bowl focused on lung cancer. In addition to our organizations, the NCI provided the data and focus with the support of the National Lung Screening Trial; The Cancer Imaging Archive; Diagnostic Image Analysis Group, Radboud University; Lahey Hospital and Medical Center; and Copenhagen University Hospital. By putting data science to work in the lung-cancer field, we continue to open up the use of advanced machine learning techniques across radiology. Moving away from just nodule detection β what other features can be extracted from the images that can help improve our ability to assess lung cancer risk or staging?
How will the use of machine learning be put into practice for improved clinical care? Share your perspectives and ask us anything!
**We're done! Thank you all for joining today and we appreciate all your great questions. On behalf of Dr. Eric Stern, Dr. Mark Michalski, and me (Anna Fernandez) - we welcome your interest and participation! We are on the last few weeks of the 2017 Data Science Bowl focused on algorithms for lung cancer detection - the winning algorithms will be released
