A list of puns related to "Blue City (film)"
Also Bernardo 'Silver' and Joao 'Canceler'. Is it like a tradition from their rich history?
Thanks for entertaining my question. I enjoy helping out of sports travelers coming to STL find things to do and eat in St. Louis and hoping you can help me.
Title basically says it all. My best friend and I are coming to town this weekend for the WC. When we travel we like to support local businesses and explore as much as we can. We are staying downtown and looking for advice on where to eat/drink. We enjoy checking out local places to eat and have a few beverages (No chains). Microbreweries with a nice selection and good food are a plus. Sports themed/related is another plus. Any other cool things a sports fans would enjoy would be welcome.
Any food advice would be great. Sadly, I donβt know what Minny is famous for food-wise or what is a must do/have. Philly has cheese steaks, Chicago has deep dish pizza, Nashville has hot chicken, Memphis/StL has BBQ, what do you guys have?
Appreciate any help. Weather will be a factor, but we arenβt afraid to Uber away. Any areas/things we should avoid? Thanks for your help and good luck this weekend at the game. Hopefully both teams will be healthy enough to put out good teams. As much as I travel I have never been to Minneapolis and looking forward to the trip!
Respectfully, Blues Fan

So, I was born in Methuen Massachusetts. I was raised, thankfully, in a nice area in New Hampshire. But, later in life, I moved to Somerville MA, which is about 20 minutes from Boston. Some people just call it Boston. I lived there for about five years. In 2016, work landed me in Arkansas. I have not left since.
Everything about living in the south is objectively better than living in any congested northeastern state. Seriously, every aspect of life that you donβt think of twice here is a big problem in Massachusetts. In my several years living in Massachusetts, my car got towed about 10 times. Since Iβve lived in Arkansas, my car has never been towed. Among the stupid reasons my car got towed in Massachusetts were that the city literally changed its laws overnight. So, because of the snow, they change their laws overnight and made it legal to tow everyoneβs cars.
Also in MA, they gave me a parking pass to park outside of my house where I lived. Well, I was still getting parking tickets. I guess it wasnβt βthe rightβ parking pass. I ended up with $700 of tickets in the meantime because itβs not like I can just stop having the need to park while I figure out the Bureaucratic process of getting βthe correct parking passββ¦.Here in Arkansas? I live in an apartment, I give them my plate number, and I can just park here. Itβs literally not an issue.
In Massachusetts, they look for reasons to fuck with you. Everything is some kind of an issue. Things that you would never think of otherwise are a huge issue in these blue metro areas. Parking is an issue. Driving is an issue. Rent is an issue. Eating at a restaurant is even an issue.
Here, things are priced reasonably. In Massachusetts, I was barely getting by.
Not to mention just aesthetics alone. Here in Arkansas, I can walk out of my apartment and take a walk down the street, and even though I live in a busy area for Arkansas, the roads are well-maintained, the buildings are nice, and itβs a good scenery. If I stepped out of my house and walked around in Massachusetts, it looked incredibly ugly and gloomy. Every building is about 100 or more years old. Everything is just ugly and worn-out looking. But, still VERY EXPENSIVE. Why so expensive? The only answer is βBecause Bostonβ
Boston is ugly and expensive. Arkansas is nice looking and affordable.
Also, I could go and buy a coffee right now and the clerk and I could tell each other life stories. Literally. Thatβs something Iβve taken for granted. I cou
... keep reading on reddit β‘So I was thinking about the first cities to fall to the Covid New World Order (NYC, San Fran, and LA) and ruminating on what they all had in common and what this might mean for the country going forward.
Some thoughts on their commonalities:
I believe #2 explains the why in regard to these cities being chosen first for The Great Reset; #3, #4, and #6 may explain the why as to the populations of those cities going along with it (more socially isolated lifestyles, less competing religious structures in place, vulnerability to the "greater social good" marketing).
What this will mean for the country going forward will be interesting but I can't imagine it will be good. The "flyover" regions might get an influx of creative rebelliousness but those big cities will still control the culture, and of course all the great things about those cities will be lost.
I know there are obviously Scouse and Mancunian Liverpool and Man United fans, but Man City and Everton fans I have heard often make the claim that they attract the most local support. Football Fans alike, along with Mancs and Scousers, What do you make of this perception?
According to Wikipedia.
Edit: Holy shit thank you for the gold!! Appreciate all the enlightening responses, bless you all.
Currently living in Minnehaha, but all across Vancouver I can see a decent amount of blue lives matter flags. Just saw some pickups with confederate flags. In my local la fitness (hazell dell) more than a third of people outright refuse to wear a mask. Is this just a small vocal bunch or?
