[TOMT] : Movie where new lawyer friends go against each other in trial and conspire to become famous by over-the-top antics at trial. Maybe starting Judd Nelson. From the 80’s or 90’s
It might not have been Judd Nelson but I think it was during that time period when he was popular. The only two scenes I vaguely remember is one of the guys telling his wife about it when he thought she was sleeping but she heard him. And after court one day the two lawyers (guys) met at (I think) a boathouse and talked about it. I think that’s where the audience learned the buffoonery in the courtroom was planned.

TIL the actors associated with the 1980’s “Brat Pack” viewed the name as an insult and were angered with the journalist, David Blum, who coined the term. When asked about Blum years later, Judd Nelson said "I would have been better served following my gut feeling and knocking him unconscious.”

Anyone have the old Judd and Nelson Pacific Northwest Hiking trail guide from ~1997?
I lost mine, and would love to find a trail that is in it, sort of close to the Mt. Forgotten trail if I remember right. At least the views from the top were similar. It’s been years. I remember the trail was called “Green Lakes” or something like that in the book, but there is no such trail name that I can find by Googling, so it might have a different name too.
