All the songs are very nice, some of them are absolutely amazing ( like anything goes, black ice, spoilin for a fight). The only one i really dont love all that much is Wheels, never hit me like the other songs in the album. Anyone else feels like this?
Just back from walking dog around Woodland Park in East Vancouver and sooo icy everywhere. Sidewalks that are shovelled are clearly still wet enough that the black ice unvisible as both dog & i fell, to my own surprise. Especially since I was wearing snow boots & dog has her claws. 😲 Shocked us both & my rump still sore 20 minutes later.
The parks field was slushy & muddy today thanks to brighter skies, however, the street lights made it look more like a giant ice rink. Streets & alleys are as treacherous. So tread wisely whether on foot or wheels.
The rain washed away all the salt and it’s back to frozen roads again. There is more rain in the forecast, so whatever roads get salted will likely be frozen again...
It works like Stealth Rocks, except it deals Ice type damage instead of Rock type. What happens to the meta and what Pokemon should get it?
I know a lot of you may not see this until morning, but if/when you do, please drive safe out there! There is definitely black ice on the roads, and I was sliding around on a simple trip to the store. Hopefully they are out still de-icing? I'm not trying to fearmonger or any thing like that, but it feels like we're screwed as far as the morning commute is concerned lol
She REFUSES to work from home due to the snowstorm. She even said that she might stay overnight in the office! Mind you, our job can easily be done at home. So there she is today, the only one in the office and she's very proud of herself. She even signed in an hour early for good measure! The rest of us are working from home...
I don't understand this boomer work ethic sometimes.
At least I'm working from home and don't have to be interrupted every few minutes by being her personal tech support.
Since some people are saying that I'm being judgemental... let me elaborate
She is doing it to prove a point, she does nothing but complain when people leave at 5pm instead of staying late. She says "young people don't have a good work ethic because they leave early or have to pick up kids from school blah blah blah lazy millenials"...
Also we are being told by emergency management to stay off the roads.
