A list of puns related to "BelgiumβRussia relations"
Hello, I am writing this for my mother who has 20 years of experience working for the Albanian government. She is currently residing in Brussels representing our government and wants to stay there in hope for a better life for me and her. However she is not sure for where to look for or what kind of job she is able to land. She can speak basic French, advanced English and advanced Italian, a Bachelors in law and a Masters in International Relations which she received in Belgium. Thanks for your help, things are getting tough.

I just want to know what you guys think. If there is conflic in Ukraine, and NATO decides to get involved by sending troops, would the NATO headquarters in Brussels be in danger from a Russian attack? I have no knowledge of how a situation like this would unfold so pardon my ignorance.
Edit: people got really pissed off at this question lmao. I realise now that βinvadeβ wasnβt the correct word. I meant in any danger of getting attacked somehow.
Howβs the recent relations? Has any recent event happened?

##Yerevan Council votes to appoint Ind. Hrachya Sargsyan as the new mayor of Yerevan
Marutyan's ally in Yerevan Council revealed [and later confirmed by a non-ally] that issues between Marutyan and the ruling party started before the war, and before Marutyan left the party.
After the war, Marutyan decided to leave the party. The ruling members said they made unsuccessful attempts to work things out, after which they decided to hold a vote to replace Marutyan.
Ruling party members accused Marutyan of making errors in the bus purchase process which forced him to purchase the wrong types of buses, inflating his role in some programs for PR, and insufficient fight against certain types of corruption in the municipality.
Marutyan's ally in Council accused the ruling members of pinning the blame on Marutyan and making "pro-Kocharyan" decisions by allowing former regime officials' mansions to be legalized instead of being demolished.
Marutyan gave a speech. He said there aren't serious reasons to replace him and that it's "politics". He pointed out the fact that the 2018 victory was achieved by the My Step alliance and not just the QP party [Pashinyan's QP had invited allies to form a My Step alliance]. "The name QP wasn't known to the masses in 2018."
Marutyan said he has left the QP party but not the My Step alliance, so he believes he is technically still a member of the ruling force. He criticized QP for claiming that they are the only ones that fought for the revolution's values.
Marutyan said he is true to revolution's values while members of governments are not, because they gave themselves a secret salary raise to Φ1.5M. [Context: public officials saw a sizeable salary raise after the revolution to discourage corruption because the new officials "couldn't get the extra income" through the usual corruption dealings that their predecessors would have.]
Marutyan said he denied requests from various officials to help their friends get a job, or to retaliate against certain "unfavorable" employees.
Marutyan boasted about driving a cheap vehicle without bodyguards, and criticized the Parliament for purchasing an expensive work vehicle for the Parliament President, "while people live in poverty"

Abrahamyan: Armenian and Turkish envoys met today. What's interesting is Turkish side wants future meetings to be one-on-one, held in Armenia or Turkey.
Mghdesyan: we witnessed a certain cooperative approach today. The post-meeting statements released by AM and TR were almost identical. It's possible that there already are some diplomatic channels between the two. The important part of the message is that Turkey agrees to continue the talks without preconditions.
This time the AM-TR negotiations have a slightly better chance to succeed. Obviously, "success" means different things for each side. For Armenia it's important to open the borders, not to tie this issue to the Karabakh conflict, etc. For Turkey, it's about the Karabakh conflict and Azerbaijan.
But after the war, it's beneficial for Turkey to normalize the relations. What they had asked Armenia to do in 2008 has been accomplished through the war, and even more. Of course, they could try to corner Armenia and demand more, but they understand that doing so would lead to no results and would only strengthen Russia's role and sponsorship of Armenia.
If Turkey ever wants to become an "alternative" in the region, it should want open borders, establish relations with Armenia, and hope that the future Armenian generation doesn't view it as a threat anymore.
Hakobyan: Turkey will of course gradually demand conditions as the negotiations advance. Nevertheless, the situation has changed and Turkey doesn't want to have a 320km Turkey-Russia border. If Turkey threatens Armenia's sovereignty, it will have a Russia-Turkey border again.
Turkey is not yet a regional "player". They only have around 60 soldiers deployed in Azerbaijan to monitor Karabakh. That's not much. It's not Turkey, after all, that deployed the peacekeepers.
Mghdesyan: for Turkey to become "second Russia" in the region, it needs Armenia. Armenia is the key.
Hakobyan: the question is, is it possible that Russia might not want AM-TR border to open? ... Armenia should establish good relations with all neighbors to be an independent and sovereign state.
Mghdesyan: if we keep our border closed by focusing on the idea that Turkey is a potential threat because opening the border could allow them to conduct "dangerous economic expansion", then by that logic, Russia sho

About Iran I know that in past relations where better. Both your countries are Shia majority. I also wanted to say that I hope one day I will be able to visit Azerbaijan and Baku. Greetings. One more thing can you recommend some good you tube vlog from recovered areas of Karabakh? Thank you.
So Iβve been wondering what Russian/US relations would be like if we got rid of all these politicians that think the Cold War is still going on. It seems like every news organization here in the states is pushing anti Russian propaganda very hard as well. Is it like this on your guys side of the world?
It is known that when you have an embassy in Beijing you have to accept one china policy. Though many countries make business with this unrecognized country and is one of the richest on the planet. In most countries Taiwan does not have embassies but kind of representative office. It was loud about Lithuania opening representative office which officially had representative office of Taiwan. Which made PRC very mad. How it is in Russia?
