Will I be matched with higher ranked players if I keep ranking up using free heroes? I just want to get to Bronze 1 and I have nothing to do while doing my business in the toilet sometimes.
Also if you play over the daily limit, will that take away from your total gTHC battle limit? I saw that you could still earn PP up to 18 times a day but gTHC games are only 14.

This is something that's been peeving me quite a bit with the Icebrood Saga so far. Many of the rewards they've advertised have been effectively false, with drop rates that are so low they may as well not even exist. Hell, for many of these rewards, the drop rates are so low that players can't even come to a consensus as to whether they've been bugged out from patch to patch.
Visage of the Khan-ur was a cool unique charr helmet. It's a reward in Bound by Blood, but you're never going to get it. It's supposed to drop from the Khan-ur Vault chest, but realistically you won't ever see it. You can buy it, but it's thousands of gold on the trading post. This reward effectively doesn't exist. It could have, if they changed the drop rate or added a way to earn it with chillis and volatile magic, but they didn't do that so this may as well not exist.
The Raven armour was a cool thematic set of skins. The drop rates are so low you'll probably never see them. These could have been earned through excess Eitrite Ingots, but they didn't do that, so they may as well not exist.
Drakkar drops gold versions of the upgraded Bjora Marches weapon set, but you won't see those. I have only ever seen one of these weapons in-game, ever. They could have opted to make these more common and non-ascended, but they didn't do that so they may as well not exist.
The Stone Summit skins supposedly drop from the "Strong" 3-crystal echo chest for Forging Steel. I've done this every week since Visions of the Past launched, and I'm coming up on episode 3 with none of those skins. I have never seen anyone wearing any of them. They may as well not exist.
I saw the bear shaman skins in the trailer for No Quarter, which I'm expecting will follow the same pattern of may as well not exist. What is the deal here? Why do they have so much trouble balancing rewards that half of the stuff they advertise will never be obtained?

TL;DR I'm a smooth brain but I find this information fascinating and think there could be some pretty good action around several price points tomorrow. I believe this to be the reason shorts loaded up and longs have remained patient. Both are ready for the possibility of an epic battle. Would love to have more wrinkly brained apes contribute to the information here.

Looks to me like the battle for $200 is significant for both sides. On either side is a massive wave of activity that is currently OTM. Price closing above $250 means over 10k of calls (1M shares) that are currently OTM finish ITM and forces over 6k of puts (600k shares) OTM. Finishing over $300 would mean almost 27k contracts (2.7M shares) that are currently OTM would finish ITM and almost 13k puts (1.3M shares) go from ITM to OTM.
On the flipside, dropping below $150 would cause over 25k in puts (2.5M shares) to be ITM that are currently OTM while causing 11k (1.1M) in calls to fall OTM. Falling below $100 makes an additional 31k in puts ITM (3.1M in shares) for a total of 56K in puts flipping from OTM to ITM (5.6M shares).
The past couple of days have been quiet for a reason. I expect tomorrow to have some fireworks. I'm not predicting MOASS or anything, just saying I expect a significant uptick in volume and probably some crazy price swings as both sides throw haymakers. To all the new Apes out there, jumping off a roller coaster is a surefire way to get hurt or worse. Strap in, enjoy the ride, and hopefully we're toasting to the greatness of RC and DFV on Saturday. The weather is pretty unpredictable though so don't be surprised if we have to rain check the celebration.
