I dont think I need to go too heavy on this thread but the general reaction to the recent VGU update poll has clearly ruffled feathers amongst the community with regards to both the treatment of specific champions from past polls and champions in the current poll as well as reactions to the second VGU that is highly unsure if it'll be out this year.

With the state of the game currently it's becoming clear that the production of VGUs needs to be set outlined development timeline with clear set characters. Quinn, Skarner, Shyvana, Nocturne are some big names that do need action but consistently get voted out every time. Obviously we currently have a poll running where either Shyvana/Skarner/Nocturne might come out on top but this is not a relilable format for the longevity of the game when the development team has access to metrics and knows who actually needs the reworks the most.

These developers whined and condescended the angry community by saying they needed time off for the holidays and yet it's now 4 days before February and they've not mentioned a Road Map, or even suggested one's coming, nor have they tried to explain a single thing about the state of the game, or anything.

When CDPR released a statement about the state of Cyberpunk, they didn't launch a series of condescending angry tweets with comments sections people could trash them in. They at least put out a few prepared statements to announce things were being looked at and worked on. I know those early days of Cyberpunk 2077 were messy and convoluted, but my point is at least they were trying.

We're getting NOTHING from the developers of this game and it's adding to the frustration. I don't expect a Q&A sit-down, or a Reddit AMA or anything where people can angrily insult them or belittle them some more. Some prepared statements with the comments section disabled or whatever would go a long way here.

The rumor mill is going to keep spinning.

I loved this game and played daily but the way we players are being treated is very shameful to say the least! I was holding on to hope for so long but it's getting harder everyday. We have to wait a week to level up and find better gear. It's like they don't even want us to play the game as much as we players would like. I cant believe I'm saying this but at this point I'm actually ready for the game to die bc of CD or the devs clearly don't care or they'd speak out. Their silence speaks just as loud as us trying to reach out thru Reddit in hopes to be heard & save a better experience. Marvel please just let it die, take back the rights from CD/Square, & give the rights to a company who actually cares about their games & their consumer base. Us players want to spend our money & embrace this game but CD/Square keeps pushing us away. It's very sad!

2. Staking Derivatives - Jan 8th Harmony tokens are staked into the network to secure the network and earn block rewards at around 10% APY currently. However, those staked tokens are not able to participate in any of the DeFi projects in the ecosystem. This approach has restricted the use of staking protocol, and some DeFi products.

Other PoS blockchains, such as LiDo Finance on Ethereum, staking partners can mint stETH to their staking customers. The staking derivatives such as stETH can be used to participate in other DeFi projects as collateral or for trading purposes.

The objective is to improve the composability of the staking protocol and increase the efficiency of the staked capitals, we would expose the staking information and staking actions to all the DeFi projects on Harmony via precompiles and caller libraries. All the DeFi projects deployed to Harmony blockchain can utilize the libraries to build lending protocols, vaults, or universal basic income projects.

Re-assigning shard membership of validators every epoch to enhance network security.
