Bala Cynwyd is village just outside of Philadelphia. Does the name have any significance? The originals founders were from Wales.

I am going to be shifting to Philly soon and am looking for housing near Bala Cynwyd which is where my office is. Just looking for recommendations for apartments which are near a bus stop and are in a safe neighborhood. I do have a budget of around $1,200 for rent, so would appreciate it if anyone could give any suggestions. I am potentially thinking of staying in Manayunk as that seems to be a safe locality. Would appreciate any help!
I'm not a Philly native but I've been here since 2011. I'm from Miami FL originally. There is definitely a learning curve with pronunciations of street/neighborhood/town/city names here. Schuylkill was the first one I experienced. I just wanna make sure I pronounce the names of these places correctly. I love this area and, even when I moved back home to Miami for a couple of years, I had to move back. Comment if there are other peculiar spellings/pronunciations anyone should know about.

I have gotten myself into a very stressful financial situation thanks to my bank account not connecting on apps like Dave, Earnin. Money borrowed has been taken from my account but I am having re-connectively issues that are not allowing me to cover my account once again. I went on a trip to Colorado late January with the intensions of marrying my fiancΓ© but we had to postpone the elopement due to financial reasons and are suffering the consequences. A lot of money we put towards it is non refundable. Because of this, we are behind on bills. We had to pay a hefty amount to keep our electric on and are facing possible eviction from our apartment. Not being able to utilize these apps again is going to cost us big time, especially with potential overdraft fees. We would use this money to cover money taken from those apps and pay rest of our rent owed.
I have tried every possible solution and nothing is working so I am asking lenders of r/brorrow for help. I get paid bi-weekly with my check being deposited Friday, 03/06. Please consider helping me out. This is my last possible chance to avoid financial disaster.
